Die Mannschaft got their work out on today as did France and Portugal. Looks like more rainy day weather for the poor Germans. Mesut is smiling and so am I. Why? Miroslav Klose is back! Whoooo!
Even Jogi is giggling with glee. I’m getting so excited to watch these guys play. I really do believe that they can take it all.
One of today’s exercise was ball juggling. With their hands. No comment except to say I have no clue as to what or why.
Sami seems happy about it but Poldi seems confused. Maybe it’s some sort of eye coordination thing? People who aren’t armchair athletes such as myself, please weigh in. What might they be practicing? I’ve seen people play keepy uppy with tennis balls plenty, but not so much this.
Portugal looks like they’re in the middle of some sort of modern interpretative dance piece set to the music of Steve Reich. El Pirata would eat that shiz up with a spoon.
And finally, lots more sleeveless Karim pictures. He’s looking very fine indeed even though France’s training gear looks like pajamas. There’s one shot of Yoann in here as well. For some reason the photogs seem to be ignoring him, which is thoughtless on their parts. What about US? What about OUR needs? More Yoann close ups, please.
And now, sadly, I have to get back to work so I can actually start enjoying my holiday weekend at some point! More later.

As someone who fights with her sports bra daily, these pics only make me want to tie Benz up in his. Why couldn’t we see him struggle to remove it?

Yoann can’t catch a break, can he? If they take too many pics of him, he gets resentment from his teammates. If they don’t take enough, the fan kids meltdown. But have a look at his legs. They are epic.
The lack of interest in Yoann is weird. Surely the photographers know he has fangirls worldwide waiting for those training pics?
I’m just happy Ribery’s not there yet to make trouble for him. Yeah, I’ll say it: I do not like Ribery (sorry Franck fans). There’s always trouble when he comes around, and it kills me that he’s tight with Benz.
All seems to be quiet on the Yoann front (or back). Wish he’d step up, or at least hang near Benz more often.
