The rain also stayed mainly in the boys’ kits! Everyone was soaked in just four minutes of play time, at which point the game was postponed for about 30 or so minutes, due to thunder and lightning. The boys then had to re-warm up & get back into game mode, fortunately for Les Bleus they were able to come back & win 2-0. We still have no Benz goal but he’s getting close, he assisted both Menez & Cabaye in their goals, and unfortunately he was subbed off before the end & didn’t get to take part in the half nekkid fiesta. Today’s match brought out another round of awesomely devoted fans, they came out to have a good time rain or shine, game or no game. These are the fans I like to see, no fights, no ugly chants, just good spirits looking to have some fun. Much to everyone’s amusement, Rain Over Me was played in the stadium during the rain delay, cheeky little music coordinator!

Benzema was so fantastic today! I loved it. I was also very glad to see that Giroud got a little bit of playing time. He’s fantastic, and really really ridiculously good-looking. As an Arsenal fan, I hope the rumors he’s planning a move to the Emirates are true!
