Boy, they’re certainly torturing us with the wait, aren’t they? Up today we have Xabi & Alvaro (could you be standing any further away, Mr. Alonso?), Mesut & Sami and Tomás Mejías.
I can’t wait for the bloopers. The RealMadrid LIFE Christsmas Special has finally been translated to English, so here you go!

FloPeezy continued his tour of China, this time visiting the offices of the Chinese Football Federation.
Florentino Perez visits the Chinese Football Federation headquarters in Beijing
The Real Madrid president gave the vice president of the Federation a shirt signed by the Whites’ first team

During the meeting, attended also by the president of the consultancy agency Soxna, Luis Alsina, the vice president of the Chinese Football Federation thanked Florentino Perez for his visit and for Real Madrid’s assistance in promoting football in their country. Lin Xiaohua had words of praise for the Whites’ institution: “It’s the best and most successful club in the world”. In addition, there was an exchange of gifts in which the Real Madrid president offered a shirt signed by the first team players and received a Federation plaque and small banner.
FloPeezy wasn’t the only one getting goodies. Aitor Karanka received a gold badge in recognition of his coaching & playing career from the Comite Alaves de Entrenadores de Futbol.

A little bit on Aitor’s career: He played for Athletic Bilbao (1993/1997 and 2002/2006), Real Madrid (1997/2002) and Colorado Rapids (2006/2007). He also represented Spain (U21, U23 and senior team) and the Basque Country.
During his 5 seasons with Real Madrid, he won three Champions League (1997/1998, 1999/2000 and 2001/2002), 1 Intercontinental Cup (1998), 1 Liga (2000/2001) Spain and 2 Super Cups (1997 and 2001).
He has coached Spain’s U15 & U16 teams. He’s been with Real Madrid as assistant coach since 2010.

Boo to sami n mesut’s video , I’ve only heard mesut speak twice , first time he was leaving bremen ( that was certainly a while back ) n now this , seriously ozi “Feliz navidad ” that’s all u gonna say ?. I must admit I’m still madly inlove with sami n mesut’s bromance , I’ve tired n tired to get used 2 the idea of serzil but I’m jst not feeling it !!!! They are both really attractive men, but I prefer mesut with sami n sese with nando or iker .
I’m laughing so hard at Sami and Mesut. Rumor has it they were a bit scared to say much in Spanish. Same with Karim and Varane.
Karanka deserves all awards… The end
That explains a lot .
Yeah congruts 2 him
he deserves it .
When I saw how short Sami/Mesut’s video was I was like “Yup. Seems accurate.” I’d be super shy if someone tried to get me speaking Spanish on camera too.
Come on Özil quit making sami do the harder part if the holiday greeting, he could of slipped in a “muy feliz” somewhere
i’m not saying xabi has to snuggle with arbi (though i’d be beside myself if he did), but they look awkwardly posed like two preteens forced to attend a dance together. hardly the way i expect such solid bromancers to act.
i don’t blame mesut for being jumpy with his spanish speaking. it’s a lot less scary than risking it with something weird on camera.
Maybe Stevie G has been getting jealous of Double A….
Me watching the Real Madrid Life video: Nope, not crying. Just my contacts bothering me. Definitely not crying because of football and because of winning La Liga last season and not winning this season and SO MANY MIXED EMOTIONS.
I just want them/us to be as happy as we were in May. Or hell, as happy as when we won the Supercopa and all thought this season would be totally awesome. I want the rest of this season to be awesome.
I always get a giggle from you calling him FloPeezy
