Bare Arses, Kittens, Curlers, Happy Returns, Sad Leave-Takings, Inspirational Tales, Tired Boys

Hooray for the Internet! Yesterday’s arse slide was bound to show up on YouTube and sure enough, one quick Google and I had the footage. Poor Filipe Luis. Can’t be easy having your arse bared to millions of people on live television, but honey, you have nothing to be ashamed of – that’s a nice booty! And check out my boo getting all aggro and shove-y. He’s a little spitfire when he’s after the ball. Remember when he shoved the referee?

More Bits and Bobs within…

For some awesome reading, check out Sid Lowe’s fantastically titled article José Mourinho unleashes his kitten of war: Karim Benzema.

I think I have fallen in love with this Everton fan: A woman after my own heart. I wouldn’t want to miss a game either. This may actually be me if my hair appointment isn’t over before the Sporting Gijon match starts on April 2nd. I need a root touch up like a mofo, but priorities, people!

Charlie Davies returned to the MLS pitch for the first time since he was almost killed in a nasty car crash in October of 2009. He scored 2 goals for DC United in their 3-1 season opener against the Columbus Crew.

In sad news, Bolton and US National Team member Stu Holden will be out for 6 months, thanks to a shite tackle from Manchester United’s Jonny Evans. Stu’s gash (near his left knee) required 26 stitches to close. Evans, who received a red card for his cleats up effort, called Holden to apologize. Stu, ever classy, tweeted it was not intentional on Jonny’s part and that these things happen. I’m amazed at his ability to keep a positive perspective especially after Nigel De Jong (aka The Xabi kicker) broke his leg with a tackle last year. He just returned to play for Bolton on May 6th. Obviously, Holden is definitely out for this weekend’s  US National Team friendly vs. Argentina.

Take a few minutes and enjoy this fantastic video short about the genesis of the Panyee FC. It’s a wonderful tale about love of the game and determination.

And last but never least, this article on the Real Madrid website has me all sorts of nervous. We could conceivably be playing a game every three days in April. When you have that tough a schedule, exhaustion and injuries are bound to happen. I’m just praying the boys can all stay healthy and safe. Argh. (Wonder what Barca’s schedule is like? I’m guessing it must be somewhat similar).

What is genius about that little moment of exposure is that the director of network coverage opted to give the world the replay from the reverse angle. Without this caring, compassionate individual’s foresight, we wouldn’t have this fabulous footage to rewind over and over and over *naughty grin*. Thank you ESPN director guy!

Hats off to the unsung heroes, the cameramen! Well, except for that one who is obsessed with Mou’s junk.

What the hell?! I fall asleep before ONE match and it just so happens to be the match where naked butts start appearing on the screen?!

Oh and I’m not ashamed to admit that I replayed the last five seconds of the video..several times..back to back (no pun intended)..

It never fails, does it? I figured some people had missed it, hence, the video embed. Don’t ever say that we don’t cater to your perving needs at HB & HB! 😉
