Girding Our Loins For El Clasico

15 Apr

As we get ready for El Clasico, Mou started the mindfucking off in epic style. He let Karanka give the press conference and refused to talk. As a result, 30 Spanish journalists staged a walkout. Oh Mou, I love you.  The best part about Spring in Madrid and training? Los Blancos wear less clothing.

Mmm! Check out Pipita with his arms around Jailbait! and El Pirata

Check ’em out from behind. Jailbait! is petting Pipita. Me gusta!

More Jailbait! and El Pirata from practice – new trendy bromance alert!

Khedergio and Ozil training together. That’s a lot of headbands in one place!

Mou and his boys
They are so gorgeous! Look at Ozi gazing adoringly at Sese!

Iker, if you want to see your hair future, look at Dudek’s head.

I’ve got a few more little piccies and news to share with you…

Crispy is the next one to get the Real Madrid TV treatment and hopefully, unamadridista will share the translation. Today, she posted a great picture of Pipita, Benz and Manu from the online Real Madrid supporters magazine:

Should we call them Moule? Moubale? Mouga?

Xabi, just being gorgeous

An epic DLD shot that I forgot to post! PRIORITIES, LOZIL!

Last and never, ever least…RAUL!

HALA MADRID!

Oh there are just too many comments in my head right now, but I must say something about the little adorable look Ozi is giving Sergio. Just so cute!

And also, there’s no need to wait for anything mi amor! The article is already in English on the Real Madrid website: http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/1330053074490/noticia/Entrevista/RealCristiano:__I_believe_we_will_win_something_this_year_.htm and I shall sink my teeth into it shortly.

Update: I don’t appreciate the mystery in the very last question on the interview. I don’t understand! So does he or doesn’t he change nappies?!!

      • headbandsandheartbreak April 15, 2011 at 7:07 pm #

Alas, the Real Madrid website usually only posts excerpts – una translates the whole thing. I’m sure she will have it up in a few days.

Ahh, no wonder it was so short!! Well just keep an eye out for the subtitled video, that’s what I did with RealRamos, they’ll probably post it later today (your tomorrow) 🙂

One of the Spanish journalists that I follow in twitter said, cynically, that “the day before a Clasico, which Karanka has to say doesn’t interest anyone”. Really??!! He is Real Madrid second coach and he is quite capable to give all information needed during the press conference. Honestly, Spanish sports press is such a joke.

Our boys are so gorgeous! They look professional models in a catwalk in Milan. Is there any other team that is so wonderful just walking to the field on a beautiful day of training? I don’t think so.

    • headbandsandheartbreak April 15, 2011 at 7:08 pm #

I just think it made them look like jerks to walk out.

And yes, our boys are so incredibly delicious that it’s almost painful.

      • GinaM April 15, 2011 at 7:49 pm #

that’s quite rude! Spanish press is a joke! But I like how Mou got to them 😉

As for the pic of the boys it looks fantastic!!! They look very up beat happy and ready!

I am ready too, Hubz and I are going to pub to watch game. And I will be dressed all in Madrid Gear, hat Ozil jersey and scarf!!!! ❤

Enjoy the games ladies!!! Have a great night and Im sure we will all have alot to talk about come Saturday night or Sunday morning 🙂

        HALA MADRID HALA MADRID!!!

Not Spanish press, but Spanish Sports press. 🙂

If you follow a little bit everyday, you will realize that the information are completely biased, distorced and sometimes invented. There are few people really serious and reasonable in this area.

If you can read Spanish, I recommend to you a blog called La Libreta de Van Gaal (www.lalibretadevangaal.com – I hope that is no problem to recommend others blogs here). It’s a very interesting and critical reflection about how wrong papers like Marca, As, Mundo Desportivo and Sport work. It’s completely insane.

Alas, I cannot read Spanish, but there are many people here who can. Please feel free to mention or send a link to any blog you think people here would enjoy!

I’ll be in my Ozil jersey too! Getting very excited for the game. I’m trying to finish one of the two papers that I have due this weekend so I can enjoy myself at least for the evening. Argh!

*sigh* i have yet to get my Sergio Ramos jersey. I will find you one day number #4, and I shall wear you everytime I watch a Real Madrid match…just like my Watishista sistahs here!

Beautiful, yes, thats what are boys are!

    • headbandsandheartbreak April 16, 2011 at 1:18 am #

On it!!! I don’t know why I never thought of that! You’re very helpful, gracias!

p.s. I’m a nervous wreck too. Wish we could all be at the Bernabeu later!

THE TANK TOPS ARE BACK!!! I can’t quite recall whether this is the first time we see them in 2011, but so many players are wearing them this time so I couldn’t help but notice.

Sergio’s hair in the 6th photo: working his inner Zeus perchance?

    *sigh* Oh Sexio..

I’m SO excited about tonight! Hopefully I can make it until then, since I’m not feeling too well. 😕
