Sorry this is a bit late. I had a rare day off and decided to sleep in a bit before I got down to all the work that I need to do today. The squad lists for tomorrow’s Copa Del Rey are as follows:

RealMadrid.com has a great article highlighting each of Madrid’s 17 Copa Del Rey wins. It goes all the way back to the first one in 1905 and shows pictures of each squad. I loved looking at all the old pictures and wondering who was their Crispy, Ozi, etc.
I was hoping against all hope that someone would put together a gif of the moment where Messi totally ran into Pepe’s ass during El Clasico. I should have known that unamadridista would come through! When this happened during the game, wa-tishista! J-9 yelled “OMG! Messi just got teabagged!” which made me practically choke on my Guinness from laughing so hard. And Xabi just stepping casually over Messi’s prone figure is hilarious (now, admittedly, it wouldn’t be if Messi was really hurt, but in this case, he wasn’t – unless you count his pride).

Una has a great post up today detailing preparations for the final and I urge you to head over and read it. She mentions that various papers are reporting some bad behavior on the part of both Pique and Pepe. I sincerely hope neither incident is true because otherwise, it would be unsporting and just plain rude of *both* of them.
Over at The Sports Fag, Sweet Sixteen voting has opened in the 2011 Hottest Male Athlete Tournament. Only three footy boys have survived: Carlos Bocanegra, Benny Feilhaber and Yoann Gourcuff. Also, Benny and Yoann are competing against each other! Argh! So go on over, support our boys and enjoy some fine, fine men from other sports. Voting for this round closes on Sunday, April 24th.

anxious for the game tomorrow – but now i’m more anxious that everyone behaves…
Now, I wouldn’t say it’s a disgrace – did you SEE some of those guys in there – whoooo! – but I wish more footy players had survived. We need to get more proactive about voting. Hopefully next year, we can convince TSF to add more footy players. Since he’s an HB & HB reader, I’m hoping that The Daily Drool will inspire him. 🙂
And yes, it would be really nice if everyone behaved tomorrow. It would be even better to see Iker lift the trophy!
