15 May

Real Madrid will face a team of players from Murcia captained by Jose Antonio Camacho on 18 May at Nueva Condomina Stadium (20:00 CET) in order to gather proceeds for those affected by the Lorca earthquake.

The Culture and Tourism Council of the Autonomous Government of Murcia has accepted Real Madrid CF’s proposal, by which the club put itself at the disposal of the regional government to help in any way it could.

Before the game kicks-off, Real Madrid players will visit areas affected by the earthquake to get to know the damage first-hand.

so we get another game in mid-week… on one hand it’s great ’cause we’ll have another game to watch but on the other it’s sad that it’s for such cause…

It’s so weird, your comment where I rescued it. Not sure why it did that as you are A. a regular poster and B. there were no links in it. Hmmmm…anyhow, I totally agree. I think this is a great thing for them to do. I wish I could go and help them raise some cash for the effort. I’m sure a donation to the International Red Cross wouldn’t be amiss in lieu of that.
