Bits & Bobs: Jailbait! Gets Down & Dirty, Sami Has No Worries, Someone Needs to STFU And Transfer Rumor Fiesta

23 May

Oh so much news today and it keeps coming… Jailbait! is having his first contest over  on Facebook. The prize is a jersey. Now, as you all well know, my Spanish skills are roughly on a par with Iker’s English so I have no idea what the contest is really about except that it seems that you need to tell him what would be your way of removing a shirt not using your hands. ::boggle:: Does this boy even realize the level of perversion out there?!  People vote on the best answers and from the top 10, Jailbait! himself will choose the winner. Now, even if this is NOT what the contest is about, I like my version of it and I’m going to make it my happy place for awhile.  I sure you will agree that the idea of thinking of creative ways to remove the ‘baller of your choice’s jersey is quite pleasant fodder for a May afternoon.

Gorgeous and yummy Sami who I miss oh so much gave an interview to DFB.de and said he doesn’t fear competition from Nuri Sahin and looks forward to starting again next season. Goal.com has some of the highlights but I am sure that our amazing watishista! Jenny will do a full translation and when she does, I’ll make sure to link to it.

I’ve always had the utmost respect for Johan Cruyff for his place in the history of this sport, but as of late, not so much. He really needs to just STFU. He’s been slagging Mou off for ages and he’s at it again.  He says that Mou “sets a bad example for children” Um, well so does hurling racial slurs, but apparently that’s not worth mentioning, eh, Johan? He also said that while Cristiano’s goal record is a “tremendous achievement,” that the game is a collective effort and that Cristiano has a long way before he can measure up to Messi because while Leo scored less in La Liga, Barca ended up with the title and in the CL final. Erm, over all 3 competitions. Messi scored only one less goal than Cristiano. So your logic doesn’t exactly compute. I suggest you shut up, Mr. Cruyff, before you A. sound even more bitter and B. you embarrass yourself further. You should be celebrating your team’s fantastic achievements instead of finding new ways to bitch about our team. It makes you seem a wee bit obsessed.

Transfer rumors have been all over the place today. There have been suggestions that Mou or Harry Redknapp (!!) would take over for the fired Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea but both were quick to deny that. The biggest uproar has been about the transfer of Kun Aguero.

He confirmed that he is leaving Atleti on his Twitter saying “I always said I would make it public when I wanted to leave Atlético. The time has come and I’m keeping my word”.  There were breathless updates all day on Twitter and stories all over the internet. The rumors said there could be an announcement as early as Saturday that he is coming to Real Madrid (although he swore that he would never play for us. It would be Pig’s Head City if that happened and I’m sure he know it). Barcelona is also mentioned and now, Marca is reporting that he’s heading to Manchester City. It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out. As for me, I’m going escape the drama by thinking of ways to remove Xabi Alonso’s shirt without using my hands. When I’m done with him (will I ever really be done with that beautiful man?), I’m moving on to Nacer Chadli. Working my way through all the Daily Drools should keep me occupied for ages.

well as my spanish skills are less than iker’s english (really? who can be bothered to type into google translate :9 )so i fully approve of the lozil translation 😀
sami, wow, you are looking as beautiful as ever.
i have no words for the man that obviously has too many.

i HATE transfer time!!!! i have a good friend who supports atleti b/c of kun (oximoron atleti friend). i don’t like this rumor

Cut and paste! 🙂 That works for me. I’m not sure what would be the point of buying Kun. That would undoubtedly mean that one of our current strikers is going. And what of the Tevez rumors? So much confusion. The Spanish transfer doesn’t even open until July 1! It ends August 31. It’s going to be a long frigging summer of drama, isn’t it?

The minute you mentioned an interview I thought “I have to find that and translate it…”

Consider it done. You can either steal it from the Sami Khedira the moment it shows up, or check your LJ messages – I’ll send it around.

That picture! No pores! Our beautiful, beautiful Sami!

On the subject of Cruyff – what about Pep’s profanity laced press-conference?

Mou is far too dignified to ever lose his cool. He just claps sarcastically when you do something he doesn’t like, and German (the language of the official who made the call) happens to be the only language left on his to-do list!

Hey, since I know you are a huge ozil fan i found an article about a recent interview he gave to german reporters about what he thinks will happen next season. It´s in MARCA under Özil: “La próxima temporada el Real Madrid será más fuerte que el Barça” translation Ozil: Next season Real Madrid will de stronger than Barca. I could translate the whole article if you would like.
    LYM.

Oh that would be so awesome, Lym! I’d love it if you wanted to do that, but no pressure! If you have time that would be great.

Im sending through a comment, its not very big…

Real Madrid midfielder hopes for a great season next year. 3/05/11 – 11:41.

    • Real Madrid´s German international Mesut Ozil affirms to German press that next season Real Madrid will dominate FC Barcelona.
    • “In Barcelona, they have been playing together for many years, but next season we will be stronger than them. I am convinced that we will win one more title” said Özil.
“The new season will be even stronger” in reference to the incorporation of his great friend, Turkish international Nuri Sahin. Özil has also predicted a victory for Manchester United against Barcelona in the Champions League final.
He also expressed his satisfaction for his first season with Real Madrid. “I do not regret my decision at any point and really appreciate mi participation in this club.”
In regards to Real Madrid coach, he reaffirms he has a “good relationship” with Jose Mourinho. “He is somebody that speaks to great players, especially young ones. He is not only the coach but a friend as well.”

I really like Canales’ contest, it requires a lot of creativity and yes, it’s a bit perverted… 😉 I actually think it’s one of the best contests made by a player recently, as in e.g. Sergio’s case people were copying & pasting answers… I also noticed that Diego Forlan made a contest so it seems like a new tradition among players. 🙂
