Real Madrid put out this video for their 2011 US tour. It’s nice but a bit…scary. I don’t know there’s something startlingly martial about the whole thing. Maybe it’s just me. I did like hearing Cris, Kaka, Pepe, Marcelo and Iker speaking English. I’m supposed to be working on a final project but I can’t concentrate right now, so I’m going to add a few more things before I hit the hay. I have to be up at 5:00 AM tomorrow and Maisougio already started her trip to Boston.
Here’s the China tour version. Marvel at Cris, Xabi, Mou and Kaka speaking Chinese! I would have loved to see Sergio take that on and why the hell didn’t they have El Pirata do a spot? My guess is he probably can speak a bit of Chinese. I guess since he’s not as famous as the others, it might not have necessarily have been a big selling point.
The NY Times has a piece from the La Roja press conference. Una posted this great translation of Mou’s appearance on El Larguero. The silence is broken! Oh, how I’ve missed him and he looks great – happy and relaxed. She also posted this absolutely adorable picture of Marcelo and Pepe.
I love these two so much! They are dorky and adorable and sweet. I really hope that Manu gets to stay because he obviously blooms around them (it would be hard not too) and they all seem to have so much fun together.

And wonderful news, Ligue 1 has the good sense to red card homophobia! Good on them. I hope more leagues make the effort.

Aww to the last pic! but… hmmm, i think that *is* the other Fernando…. that hair’s a bit weird/head shaped funny, and the shoulders don’t look like Nando’s- unless he’s just startled by the surprise Sernando tap…. but who cares?! Another reaaaason to celebrate Sernaaaaando!!!!!! ❤
