DAMN IT! New Roberto Carlos Racism Incident

22 Jun

Complete and utter bullshit. This clip made me cry. Poor Roberto Carlos. This man has been dealing with this shit since he signed to the team.

It’s just heartbreaking. The Russian Football League is investigating. Let’s hope they actually do something. As user rednigerian commented over on YouTube: “In 7 years this is where the World Cup will be held. Take a bow, FIFA.”  This just makes me want to punch a wall.

Poor Roberto. Looking at that reminds me of footage of football matches from the ’80’s. He’s a better person than me – I’d never play in Russia, for love nor money! Of course, not all the Russian clubs and towns are like this but it’s a place with so many serious economic and social probs that targeting anyone different is a definite problem.

    Hang tough, Robbie…

The person who did that is no kind of football fan (no kind of man either), you have the privilege of watching a true great of the game, winner of almost everything the game has to offer and you do this. It’s sickening that he has to endure it at this stage in his career. I would much prefer to see him in the US where they would realise how lucky they were. Real Madrid or no I’ve always loved watching him play (I had a soft spot for that brazilian team- they just seemed fun!).

Racism in Russia and Homophobia in Qatar. What exactly are those FIFA values again? But god forbid we allow brave Iranian women to play sport while respecting their freedom to practise their religion- that might be offensive! SMH

I agree with everything you said. This should be addressed but FIFA was busy fighting the real enemy: snoods. ::rolls eyes:: But seriously, with all this shit and corruption in their ranks, the best those fuckers could legislate was NECKWEAR?! Throw all the bastards out and start fresh. My heart hurts for Roberto Carlos.

there was another case when he first went to Russian, then they played it off as being some student that casually dropped it in the field right? sad

Actually, that was the Neymar incident.

Sadly, Roberto Carlos had another incident happen to him. The fan handed him the banana right to his face. It was disgusting. At the time, he said it didn’t bother him, but I’m sure he was upset. Obviously, it’s been continuing. I’m glad he walked off the pitch. No one should have to put up with that.

again, it amazes me that such losers are allowed to walk and breathe and breed with the rest of society. what kind of point what he trying to make by throwing the banana? also, it’s blatant disrespect of food. some people have too much money.

I am so glad he walked out. People who think they are superior than others are actually proving the opposite.
