Sami Scores!

3 Aug

Whooooooooo! Best news I’ve had today. Sami Khedira scored his first ever goal for Real Madrid 6′ minutes into the first half vs. Guangzhou.  May you score many many more, Gorgeous! I missed the match because I incorrectly calculated the time difference, but if you’re looking for links to the downloads, here they are. Looking forward to watching when I get home!  The final score was 7-1 and the scoring played out this way: (Khedira 6′, Ozil 30′, Benzema 38′ and 48′, Cristiano Ronaldo 55′, Jese 70′, Di Maria 82′, Yang Yihu ’86). Nacho had to leave the pitch at 88′ due to injury (wah!). Apparently, it was blazing hot with 80% humidity, which explains the sweatiness above.  Enjoy the picspam of the match!

Don’t know about you, but it looks to me like Crozil are thinking about the post match Playstation and orange juice!

And how on earth does Mou concentrate with all those photographers around? It would drive me nuts! I guess he’s used to them documenting his every….wait for it…Mouve. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I may have more to say after I actually get to watch the match, but I wanted to get some pictures up and let you know the good news about the win. Hala Madrid! Hala Sami!

Is it just me, or do the guys look like they’re dancing? Jese, for one, got really into it with DiMaria!

Mou seems to be sporting moubs and a post-vacation jelly belly these days. Must hide this from the Mouparazzi.

And those white undershorts the players are wearing…Spanx?

So glad the boys all took turns scoring goals!

The dreaded Under Armor. This shit is a crime against nature! Do away with it!

But it’s so hot! The weather, I mean. Layering is not going to help — them or me!

@manie- Jese even lift Di Maria up after he scored. Adorable! Di Maria was great at this game. You can really see what he can do when he stays on his feet (and not diving!)

So it was a confirmed injury for Nacho then. Tsk. Adan miscalculated and left his box, while Nacho and Arbie was running after the Chinese player (the one who scored). Nacho was trying to clear the ball away but his groin/manhood hit the goalpost! It was a real ouchie by the look on his face. Not a pretty sight.

You will enjoy this game! There are many moments, awesome backheel passes, the goals and yes Sami scored! Lookout for Mesut so thrilled for his big brother 🙂 Mesut could’ve scored the first goal but he hesitated. But it’s cool since he assisted Sami’s and his own goal was a thing of beauty! He was so calm doing it! The only bummer was Nuri’s absence *sigh*

I still haven’t seen the match. Downloaded it last night, but was in the middle of some stuff and couldn’t watch. Going to curl up with it tonight, methinks. Poor Nacho taking a hit to the nachos. That can’t be fun. 😦 Hopefully he’s doing better today. Poor lamb.

Thank you higher power for white shirts, lots of sweat, and smoking hot men…
It gets no hotter than Real Madrid…

If nothing else, you’ll love seeing how those white kits go all transparent and cling to the players! Mmm…

Fantastic, Sami! So happy he scored 🙂
In some pictures it looks more like thy’re doing kung fu than playing football – maybe they wanted to pay tribute to their Chinese hosts…

And I’m going to email you re education for sure, thanks for the offer!

@Mari, I thought Jese was giving Fideo an aerial wedgie!
