Possessing perhaps the greatest name to ever grace a Daily Drool, Asier is a left back who played for Athletic Bilbao through his youth career. He moved up in 1999 and debuted for the first team in 2000. He stayed until 2005 when he moved to Chelsea for a year. From there, he returned to Valencia from 2006-2011. He had three loan stints Athletic Bilbao (2007-2008), Valladolid (2010) and The Little La Liga Team That Could, Levante (2010-2011). The last stuck and when he returned to Valencia at the end of the season, his contract was terminated. He just inked a permanent deal with Levante at the beginning of this month. He also represented Spain at the U18, U21 & senior team levels from 1999-2006. Seems like he also hangs around at Ye Olde Tengwar Tattoo Hut with Sergio and Nando if this picture is to be believed.
