The Daily Drool: Blerim Džemaili

1 Sep

Midfielder Blerim is a Swiss footballer of Albanian descent who was born in Yugoslavia. He started his career in 2003 with FC Zürich and was chosen as captain in 2005 – one of the youngest captains in Swiss footy history. He has since played for Bolton Wanderers, Torino, Parma and as of 2011, Napoli. He’s only 25. I’ve got to wonder how many languages he speaks by now? A citizen of the world, our Blerim! He has made 13 appearances for the Swiss National Team since 2006.

He is very cute- Reminds me a little of James McEvoy!! Like that he has hair on his chest- what is it with footballers and waxed chests- not a fan!!
