When You’ve Got Bad News, It’s Always Best To Break It With Puppies

23 Dec

Luckily, Alvaro tweeted a picture of his “co-pilots” Sawyer, Mulder and Bauer just in time to help me out. My face looked mournful and pug-like as well when I woke up and saw the results of the Copa Del Rey draw.  In the round of 16, we will face Malaga (at home, January 4th and the second leg at La Roseleda on January 11th). If we win, we face the winner of the Barca-Osasuna match January 18th and 25th. So yeah, we could have 2 Clasicos next month. FML. Or should I say Fuck Our Lives.  Sigh. But…PUPPIES!

Yeah, didn’t really work for me either. How about some Sergio then? He’s the gift that keeps giving in terms of changing the subject. Boy Wonderful was at home in Sevilla and was one of the recipients of the 2011 Young Andalucia Award.

He looks nice, doesn’t he? He posed with the other two winners, Pablo Alboran who is a singer and Maria Leon who is an actress.

I’m probably going to get  a Serg Sisters beatdown for this but I think these two look super adorable together!  But I’m sure there’s absolutely no chemistry there. At all! I SEE NOTHING!  But you have to admit, it’s a pretty cute picture.

Iker sent “a big hug youth!” and wished us Merry Christmas by sharing The Gossip’s Heavy Cross video. I love Beth Ditto probably more than the next person, but I’m not sure this song would pop to my mind when thinking of the holidays.  Is this Iker trying to be a hipster? First the hat, now The Gossip? My guess is that he discovered this song while zaprudering the Charlize Theron J’Adore Dior ad.  El Pirata weeps at the notion. Bless.

Oh my goodness, the puppy with its head tilted to the left is killing me. Killing me. :’D

Me too! That’s exactly what I looked like after reading about the Clasico draw!

I’ve had the picture of the pugs open all day. I just can’t bring myself to close it.
And I’m finding it hard to believe Sergio dressed himself this morning. Everything matches!

I’m praying Osasuna pull off a miracle and beat Barcelona. El Clasico’s stress me out more than my A-levels do.

Oh my days. Thank you so much for explaining who she is. On the contrary, we’re more than happy you did it! You see, I was in full panic mode! It’s bad enough competing with one girl as it is! Posing with another winner… not so bad 🙂

Serg Sister here….. It looks like he’s looking around her, not at her. She is cute though. But, no, the two of them are not cute together. Serg would only look cute with me 😉

I love Arbeloa and his willingness to let us in. His dogs (and their names) are adorable!

Mental picture: Alvaro driving along with his puppies and loudly singing along with the stereo. 😀

Carlota riding shotgun, Alba and puppies in the car seats in the back. Next stop: Zaragotha! 🙂
