Some Holiday Bits and Bobs

25 Dec

I found a few other things online today in between eating too much and napping. First up, this documentary on Mou that aired on Sky Sports.

Sergio tweeted a picture of him having dinner with all his childhood friends. It’s lovely to go home and see all your all buddies at the holidays, isn’t it?

Benz posted this picture of himself and a helicopter to wish everyone happy holidays. Um, is he James Bond or something? Not sure what he is doing or where, but as long as he’s having fun…

Alvaro tweeted a picture of himself with his cousin and a friend celebrating the holidays, wearing one of his endless collection of D-Squared t-shirts.

The holidays brought out the more creative side of fandom and I cracked up when I saw these two images on FY Sernando and MarceloSunshine respectively.

You can put your own name (or anyone else’s) on Fernando’s tummy with this Facebook app. Consider it a present to yourself…

Is this a totally awkward pose or what? I mean, Iker’s face looks adorable, but lordy, I would not have chosen that for the cover. Maybe it’s just me. Oh well.

I’ll leave you with this lovely shot from Invent Football: “Palestinian and Israeli boys share a laugh during a soccer tournament between Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian children, organized to promote closeness, cooperation and co-existence, Holon, December 25, 2011. ”  Peace on earth, goodwill to men.

the mou piece was fascinating, but begs the question – who let him on film looking like that when they filmed his interview? i love him regardless, but still. the man needed a shave, at the very least.

hope you had a great holiday, lo!
