Getting the Job Done and Winning Points

16 Apr

It wasn’t our best of games but we got the three points, which is extremely vital at this point. We need to keep on keepin’ on, that’s the only way we’re going to win BIG in a couple weeks. I need to keep on keepin’ on also, I have a BIG test Friday that requires my ass to study hard. I’m hoping all this studying will land me in Diploma City, so before I get to all that this is going to be a goal vid & pic spam, my apologies!

Post Match Comments:

“The teams work and attitude throughout the season is what matters. We have a fantastic group of players that makes all of us very happy. They deserve to be champions and we must keep up the good work till the end.”

“People say Mourinho has a defenisive style, but 107 goals isn’t all that bad.”

“Sporting defended well and we knew they would. A draw wouldn’t do much for them and it’s a shame they’re in that situation because of the attitude the showcased. They caused problems for us and made it difficult to win.”

“Just like against Atletico, when things get tougher and people say the team grows anxious, that’s when we knew how to find the moment in which to score. That’s important. We won another game and took three more points.”

“When things looked worse we managed to find the right moment to score. We elaborate more when we have to. We also know how to finish off efforts quickly.”

“It was important to win tonight to stay strong in La Liga. We’ll play another match on Tuesday and in order to earn a good result we’ll use the team we deem more convenient. There are fewer games left in the season and we’ll face a great side in Munich, so we’ll start preparing for it tomorrow.”

“It was a complicated match. We knew Sporting would make it difficult for us and that they would defend as best as they possibly could. We worked hard for a victory and we’re happy. We must now think about the Champions League and Bayern Munchen.”

“We all work at this, those on the pitch and on the bench alike. You score one day and others it’s a teammate. The important things is to be united and win the titles at stake.”

“Five finals remain and we must win them come what may. The league title is at stake and we must remain calm to win every game. That’s all we think about.”

“Bayern Munchen are a tough opponent in a tie preceding the final we all want to play. We’ll rest in order to prepare well.”

“When the crowd supports us they are another player on the team and it helps create unease on the other side and provide us with energy.”

“It was another difficult game and it was hard for us to pull through, but we did in the end. We have to win the remaining games come what may, and they’ll all be hard.”

“We have many forwards capable of scoring several goals and we want more. Cristiano has no limits and we have to take advantage of all the strikes he nets for us. The team is strong both physically and mentally.”

“We must only think about our Munich match now. We’re in good form, but the match will be difficult and tough. We’ll do our best to win in Munich. Real Madrid are favourites in every championship and in every game, but we will be humble in order to earn a victory.”

“We looked for a win from the very first minute. It was difficult to have chances against Sporting because they had a tight defence. We were even more motivated to score once we were behind on the scoreboard. What matters is we continue to take points. We must now enjoy this victory.”

“The team reacted. Their goal motivated us extra. We don’t need to be behind on the scoreboard for this to happen, but the important thing is we knew how to react.”

“We only think of ourselves. There are five finals left and Barcelona are proving to be one of the best teams in the world and continue to put pressure on us. We must take things slowly, enjoy this win and prepare to face Bayern Munchen, who are a great side.”

Who’s excited for tomorrow?? The team is in Munich, they’re preparing for the semifinal showdown, and I hope they return home victorious! HALA MADRID!!! CLANG CLANG 😉
