Sorry to bombard you, but Forza Futbol linked to this awesome Game of Thrones inspired Clasico ad from Sky Sports on Twitter. I wish I had seen this yesterday!

I love it! It gave me goosebumps, even though I already knew who OWNS the throne now! 🙂

ha! someone JUST sent me this this morning, and said “i know you love GoT and i know you love RM, although i have absolutely no idea about the latter at all, so i thought of you immediately when i saw this.”

    and my response was:

to explain it in terms you could relate to: if the la liga race followed the game of thrones plot, barcelona are the lannisters (xavi hernandez is totally, totally joffrey but i’m willing to concede their captain, puyol, is totally tyrion) and real madrid are the starks (with jose mourinho in the role of ned).

WINTER (white = real madrid’s kit colour) IS MOTHEREFFING COMING, Y’ALL!!!!!!

I love your character breakdowns, but Mou is way too smart to be Ned, haha. Winter is coming indeed!

I love seeing two of my favorite things unexpectedly mashed together!

i meant it more in the sense that he has as many enemies as he does friends, and that he’s not afraid of controversy, nor to speak his mind. but yeah, mou would never let a little twit like xavi-ffrey do that to him! ;p

Messi would be a good equivalent for Tyrion. Size-wise! 😀 (But I agree, his character is too different.)

I watched the match on Sky Sports, and when I saw this I was basically having a panic attack. I keep crying each time I remember that we won :’)
