Rest In Peace, Pitina Sandoval

22 May

Maria Angeles “Pitina” Sandoval, the wife of Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez, has passed away (reportedly from lung cancer which she has been struggling with for the past few years). She was 65.  While she had been ill for awhile, her death was unexpected as they thought that she was in remission. They had been married for 42 years.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

How very sad for Florentino and his family. She was at the final match and celebrations, so this must have been unexpected. RIP Pitina.

How sad for the RM family. I’m sure the team members have extended their support in the Perez family’s time of need. We need to find a way to beat cancer once and for all.

You know, she and Flo look alike and have the same smile.

My heart goes out to the family, especially our dear Flo Peezy. To be parted from our loved ones is a terrible thing, but we must hold hope that we will see them again someday. Cancer is never easy, I hope that she now rests peacefully.
