Arrivals, 2 Boys 1 Shirt, and Sergio to the Barbershop

1 Jun

The gang is finally all here!…erm there, I wish they were here with meh. La Roja got back to work, after a day off, and the off duty Barca & Bilbao players have now joined the team. Another go at arrivals? Well there were still questionable outfit choices, it wouldn’t be La Roja without an outfit flop, but their faces are purty so we’re still lucky Watishistas! Xabi gets the opening spot because well, perfection deserves it.

Iker, why does your shirt have a typo?  Why are your shorts rolled up? Why are you tan resistant? So many questions I almost didn’t notice that he ditched his murse!!! Baby steps, people!

Albiol, if you’re going to wear something that resembles fug training gear, why wouldn’t you wear your pretty La Roja gear? Why, boys, why??

Arbeloa, why do you wear v-necks? Because you love us. Thank you.

Arbeloa, why do you step out wearing Alba’s jeans? Because you want to give us something to write about. Thank you….but get your own pants papa!

Good on this hottie for showin’ up in uniform.

Even the two that we’ll miss very much paid a visit to the team, Puyol & Villa.

Puyi, are those studs on your shirt? Studs say no to studs.

Not bad, Nando. Not bad.

Sergio, do you plan on putting that superhero Sergio-man belt to good use & rescuing me from a world of normal colored jeans? Please do. Check the shirt out peeps, look familiar? It should, because it went from caressing Nando’s freckled shoulders to stretching across Sergio’s broad, tanned, & tattooed bodyyyyyy! I think we can all agree that 2 girls 1 cup should never have been made (trust me, don’t look it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about) but I wholeheartedly approve of 2 boys 1 shirt!! Thanks to Watishista realfromwithin for linking us some Sernando & pointing this out!

A bit later Sergio, still wearing his “mmmmm..it still smells like him” shirt, went to the Nike Barbershop event in Madrid. The event is actually a pretty cool one, Madrid is home to one of six of the physical barbershops where fans can virtually try on hairstyles of football legends. There’s also a Nike Barbershop app, which I’m curious to try out. I don’t think Sergio’s hair is an option, but how awesome would it be to try his silky mane on?? Or is that just creepy? Check out this ad for the campaign.

Mmmmhmm! I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to strap someone to a chair so badly…I don’t think Pony would mind…

“Watch yourself.”

Snippets of what he had to say –

“I never had problems with Piqué. We both defend our team, and that’s it. We’re professional and mature people.”

“I’ve always defended Torres because I perish a splendid player who has scored in all the teams he has been and is going through a great moment. It will be very important in the tournament. ”

On the upcoming China friendly –

“I want to send a greeting to all my countrymen, we will feel the support from Seville before travelling to the Euros.”

“It’s a unique place and with all your love we can go to Poland and Ukraine motivated for the task ahead.”

the boys are (all) back in town! it’s like christmas, new year’s, my birthday and winning the lottery, all rolled into one. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

(and to my non-footy friends, i apologise in advance for how utterly insufferable i’m going to be over the next month or so …)

I’m very excited that they’re finally back together too, it’s about time! I can’t wait for Llorente to finally get to playing on Sunday 😀

Soooooo, Sergio might be wearing Nando’s shirt but Nando is wearing the same tennis shoes that Juan Mata was wearing when they revealed their boots or whatever from a few days ago. Oh what a tangled web they weave!

Another bromantic triangle! So hard to keep up with all the man love!

Wait, Sese perishes the splendid player Nando is? Shouldn’t that be “cherish?”

It should be cherish but unfortunately, it turned out to be something lost in translation. He said “perece”…not sure what he meant by it, somebody wanna help us out?

He must have said “parece” which makes a lot more sense…approx. translation would be “he seems to me a splendid player”

Actually, The Ramos IS an option!!!

I read here http://theinspirationroom.com/daily/2012/nike-barbershop/ and it says

“Nike Barbershop App, go.nike.com/NikeBarbershop, enables viewers to emulate their heroes’ hairdo by trying out ten famous footballers iconic styles and sharing them with friends. Choosing from the Neymar, the Sakho and the Ramos among others, the best submissions will also get the chance to visit one of six physical Nike Barbershop locations in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Mexico City, Milan and Paris where the latest styles can be fixed for real. A pop up Nike Barbershop will also be featured in Warsaw during Europe’s major football tournament this summer. “
