Iker Casillas & Karim Benzema: Game Changers

14 Jun

Here’s some great “documentaries” that Iker and Karim did for Hyundai for their Euro 2012 campaign. It’s from a series featuring “Team Hyundai” which is Iker, Karim, Guiseppe Rossi, Daniel Sturridge and Lukas Podolski.

Here’s a TV spot called “Passion on the Pitch”

This one is called “Determination”

The final one is a “Making of…”

And here’s some bonus hot Iker (courtesy of his Facebook)!

Okay I’m off to bed now. Have to be up at 5:30 AM to head to Philadelphia for graduation! Next time I post here, I’ll be a grad student no more, but a Master! 🙂

What a great way to start my day with these beautifully made ads. Thank you, oh, Master Lozil! Congratulations, graduate!

For all the beauty that I see (thank you for linking these!), I can’t help but gape at the fact that apparently, they could not find the money to get a decent English-language editor for their subtitles. That’s pretty embarassing, people. (This coming from a professional translator. It’s not terribly expensive to have someone proofread your texts, you know?)

I’ve been waiting to hear Benzema speak in French. Totally didn’t disappoint. Makes me wish I was back in France because I got to experience Euro 2004 there! When that’s your introduction to international soccer, it leaves quite an impression!

P.S. – Does anyone do a better smoulder look to the camera than Iker? Le sigh.

P.P.S. – Congratulations on the Masters degree!

Totally random Benz comment, but has anyone else noticed that he hasn’t been shaving the 2 lines into his hair since the beginning of Euro? I read somewhere that they meant something to a friend back in Lyon. Hmmm.
