Here’s some pictures of our fine gentlemen arriving at the stadium for tonight’s match against Santos Laguna which kicks off in about 10 minutes. Watishista dreamsequence is there and tells us that it is a balmy 102 degrees. Just like last year in Philly. Oy. Stay hydrated, kids!
Starting XI according to the Real Madrid website: Casillas, Varane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ozil, Granero, Alonso, Coentrão, Arbeloa, Albiol, Higuain and Jesse.
– Lozil
But, it’s a DRY 102 degrees! 😉
Certainly a shock to the system coming from San Diego
Whoever scheduled them to play in Vegas in August had no clue what they were doing.
Or didn’t care. I’m dreading the match in Philly this year. Last year was 102. It was disastrous and this match is at 1:30 PM. That match kicked off at 9 PM. Ugh.
I’ve been compulsively eyeing the weather forecast for Philly like that will mean I get to control it.
Ha! Me too!
But Wednesday night is looking perfect!
Hooray for that at least.
On the other hand, if I’m honest, I probably won’t care because I’ll be there. It’s the first game I get to see live. I’m basically dying of excitement and impatience, hehe.
That was the best day ever I had front row seats! Real Madrid warmed at beginning in front of me!! At one point in yelled Mesuts name and he looked over and thumbs up and smiled!!!! I had the greatest time of my life!!! Now off to New York!!!! 🙂 😉 🙂
i was there too, but i enjoyed vegas more than i enjoyed the game, for various reasons. glad we won, though. NYC-bound now!
Stupid ass
Hey – We don’t talk to each other like that here. Keep a civil tongue in your head or don’t comment here.
How come you didn’t enjoy the game?? Did you make it to the signing in their hotel? I’m having a blast in Vegas too but it’s a different feeling seeing that game live front row and pzil and all other players right there infront of me!!! I can’t wait for the game in new York!!!
i’m really glad we won, obviously. 🙂 i was just sitting in a field of drunken idiots who had barca jerseys on and kept shouting “MESSI!” at ronaldo every two seconds (it was the section that had the green laser pointers). the motormouth behind me would. not. shut. up. the ENTIRE match. it was like having my own personal commentator, albeit one who knew eff all about anything.
i didn’t even know about the signing, otherwise i would have been there for sure. but i did have a fantastic time in vegas overall!
