The boys had their last training today before kicking off the La Liga season tomorrow against Valencia. The mothership gifted us with this pump up video. Mesut actually says something besides “Soy muy feliz!”
I was going to post excerpts from the interview but the translation on the website had lots of mistakes and weird wording. Besides, what we really want to know is called up for tomorrow.

Speaking of Sergio, all is right in the world because he was spotted in the mall today. It looks like he’s in Best Buy or something. What does the man buy?! He must have everything in the world due to his daily trips. He’s secretly in a mall walking club, I just know it.
My dear friend watishista P has been in a funk over Robin Van Persie leaving Arsenal for Manchester United. If there’s one thing that she loves more than she loved RVP, it’s Gerard Pique so here he is in Mango’s Winter 2012-2013 collection.
Chin up, boo! Brighter days are ahead. One person who might end up at Arsenal on loan is Nuri Sahin (if Liverpool doesn’t snag him). He tweeted a thank you today to all of his Twitter and Facebook followers. What was extra exciting is that he included a picture of his son Omer! This is the first time I’ve seen a picture of the little woobins and he’s absolutely adorable.

I’m nowhere near as invested in La Liga as I am in the EPL (OK, I’m not invested at all by comparison, football can ONLY be srs bzns for me in England) but I’m still looking forward to it mostly cause I hate Barcelona, it’s the only OOMPH I have in me as a football fan when it comes to Spain. (Also, lots of Ginger action to torment me and turn me into a hormonal mess).
I’m a horrible person.
But at least I’m aware of it.
