La Roja, Day 2: Training & Presser

5 Sep

Of course I’m going to lead with a Sernando shot. It’s about the only thing that’s helping me keep my tenuous grasp on sanity right now. I need about a hundred more of these.

I wonder if Sergio got boo boo or did he just find out that all the lime green/neon yellow pants were sold out at the mall?

Benat Etxebarria and Roberto Soldado were today’s La Roja press representatives. Behold the video!

Onward! There’s more La Roja news, but I’m going to pop it into another post so as not to overload this one. (Photos courtesy of RFEF ,  Alinnyderis and GF Sports)

    Finally some Sernando!
I was getting worried about those two.

Once again adoring the crap out of Xavi because he can run on ridiculous angles. I’m such a geek.

Sergio’s hair is looking more and more like a hedgehog. And somehow, this continues to increase my love and desire.

Also, this is the first I’ve heard of this Beñat Etxebarria, but I look forward to learning the correct pronunciation of his name, so that when boys accuse me of not knowing any footballers besides Cristiano, I can expertly roll that one off the tongue.

I like Beñat and his hound dog looks! But he’s one of Mari’s favorite Betis Boys.

Javi Martinez and Juan Mata not called up?

I love it when La Roja get together. All that pretty in one place and I don’t have to choose sides. 🙂
