Despite how humble La Roja was going into their match against Belarus, we all pretty much expected the WC Qualifier to be a breeze for them. The adorable itty bitty, Jordi Alba, opened up the scoring, Pedro scored his first hat trick, and Iker got a clean sheet – I bet he’ll take ’em where he can get ’em! The pics were severely lacking for this match, so I’m afraid this is going to be a short & quick one.
Twelve minutes was all it took for the first goal to be scored. I’d be happier for Jordi if his goal wasn’t so offside…what was up with that? It looked pretty obvious to me.
Nine minutes later, Pedro followed up with the second goal. Only 20 minutes had passed and thangs were looking pretty good for La Roja. Poor Belarus, it was obvious from the boys’ goals, that more were to come. My theory about the itty bitties is proving to be true, when one does well, they all do well. Itty Bitty Pedro’s first goal was assisted by fellow itty bitty David Silva. Bitty Power!
The itty bitties continued to be on fiyah in the second half, with Xavi assisting Pedro’s second goal in the 69th minute.
Three minutes later, the hat trick was completed! Itty Bitties FTW!
Pedrito was awarded the game ball for the work put in, he may be itty bitty but his skill & work put it was not.
…I didn’t write itty bitty too many times, did I?

It was such a fun game to watch! I couldn’t stop laughing when they put the largest kid in front of Santi, he was almost invisible! Cazorla and Silva are definitely my favorite itty bitties. And I love that word, you can not use it too much!
Oh God that last photo 🙂 Whose coat it that? It’s swallowing Pedro alive!
nope, itty bitty was said just the right amount of times, hehehe :’)
