Hope you had a wonderful New Year’s Eve! This is going to be a quick and dirty post as I have to race off to meet watishista P to watch Arsenal v. Southampton. My love of The Ox knows no bounds. Iker invites you into this post by tossing his grapes and no, that’s not a euphemism.
There’s a saying “Start as you mean to go on” and it’s clearly true with bromancing. The Bromance Battle Lines of 2013 have been drawn. If we had hoped that the Double As would be back together, I think we’re sadly mistaken. It’s going to be Albiolita and Arbetti. They rang in the New Year with their respective bromantic partners.
WAH! But what can you do? The heart wants what it wants. Oh well. Marta kindly provided quite a few pictures of the gathering. She looks so cute!
I totally forgot to get some shots of my New Year’s Eve outfit. Sigh. Her hair looks great and the dress is terrific on her. Meanwhile, over at the house of the World’s Cutest Family, not only was it New Year’s Eve, it was Tio Caio’s 25th birthday.
I love how they put a party hat on Lola who looks about as enthused as ever! They weren’t the only ones to dress up their pooch. Karalyn & Stu got Toby in a tie. Not content with that, Scotsman Stu got Karalyn’s dad to wear a kilt!

OMG. I just die from the adorableness of these two. A couple more quick shots: Here’s the Reina kidlets in their Christmas portraits. Looks like Alma may have been spending too much time with the Torres family, because she’s got a proto-bitchface going on. Luca looks so much like his Papi and Grecia is such a pretty little girl.
Neymar was out with his buds doing Neymar stuff last night (backwards baseball caps, finger signs, etc.) but he posted a shot of his little one Davi Lucca before heading out. He’s getting so big!
And finally, our favorite goofball, David Luiz wished us a Happy New Year. He always puts a huge grin on my face.
And now I have to jump in the shower quickly and get my arse down the pub before I piss off my first person of 2013 by being late!

alma reina is making my life! her face is exactly how i feel about the whole holiday season, just OVER it. that said, no matter how i’m feeling, the combination of david luiz and enzoboy can’t help but cheer me up. love them! and wee toby in his wee tie gets an honourable mention, too — so cute!
