Goal-licious Against Levante

11 Apr

Real Madrid's Casillas sticks out his tongue as he sits in the bench before his Spanish first division soccer match against Levante in Madrid

Licky licky, licky licky, Iker likes to, licky licky, licky licky. Sorry, I had to…actually, I’m not sorry. Look at San Iker getting freaky on the bench! The Levante match had it going on, beautiful things happening on the pitch & beautiful people sitting on the bench, under some extremely flattering, washes of blue light…..excuse me while I daydream about our team as Mermen.

Secretary General of the U.N, Ban Ki-moon, was in the hizzy to perform the ceremonial kickoff, which meant a lot of hand shaking. What makes me sad is that Sergio & Iker were in such close proximity and there still was no pre-match beso. Blast the wretched formalities! There should always be time for besos!

Now, before we get into the goal-licious game, let’s take the time to ogle Los Mermen Madrileño, to the beat of Underwater Love (thank you HermosaChica).

Michel opened up the scoring in the 31st minute, sayonara clean sheet, but we made up for it five minutes later, with a faaaaaabulous goal from Pipa. Major points to Xabi for that long, sailing, assist & the same goes for Pipa’s aerial talents. That kind of move takes skill, especially when we know there’s extra gravitation pull on dat ass.

No time to slow our roll, we were faced with another scoring opportunity, two minutes later. A penalty was awarded to RM for Lell’s ball handling….there’s only one type of ball handling allowed on the pitch and Lell wasn’t going for his own. Kaka was set to take the penalty & the Lord willed our boy to score! In the span of four minutes, we went from losing, to equalizing, to taking the lead. How’s that for time management??

…….what is dear Kaka trying to communicate to us with this celebration? Is he a gambling man? I hope that’s not how he throws dice. Or is he imitating Xavi & blessing/thanking the green grass that grows all around, all around?

We had the lead going into halftime & upon returning, it was time to up the score & introduce some subs….if Real Madrid would give us locker room access, we’d be able to know for sure if the subs, indeed, are foot longs. 😉 Up first was Cristiano, coming on for Callejon in the 46th minute. Di Maria followed in the 57th minute, coming on for Kaka and finally, Ozil in the 76th minute, for Benz.

Pipita who was in the assisting mood (this really never gets old) served one up for Crissy in the 84th minute. It was beautiful goal & a beautiful moment of thigh action, as Pipa ran his booty past the cameras!

The boys kept the goals coming in quick succession throughout the night! Nevermind that the final whistle was close to being blown, there were still goals to be scored! Enter Ozi. His first was a slip n’ slide of a goal, assisted by Cristiano. Poor Munua, never had a chance.

A little Turkish delight to finish off the night! With one minute to spare, Ozi scored his brace in the 92nd minute. Look at him go!

So the first thing I thought was “Is that ALL Caroline learned from 50 Shades of Grey? A little spanking?”

LoL, sergio as a seahorse?!?! Pipa as a Merman?!?! OMG YES!!!!

  5. Charliechaz April 11, 2013 at 10:39 pm #

Sergio would totally be a seahorse!

Also Kaka Like A Boss….though the celebratio was a bit ….

But whatever, Ban Ki Moon is quite fit. He took a running start and everything. One of the players….don’t know who…had to hot-foot it after the ball. Best opening kick I’ve seen.

He also had so much fun – it was delightful to see someone really getting into it! 🙂

I think this batch of pictures is one of the best!! From Iker to CR7 (yes I really said that) to Ozil… couldn’t get any better. I’ll sleep well tonight!

Iker’s Deep Sea Thoughts were hilarious!
And Kaka’s goal celebration? What;s he doing? Hi-fiving imaginary dwarves?

Okay, I know I’m way behind on reading the blog–visit to family meant limited computer access–but the Iker sequence was just too perfect! Thanks, Maisougio!
