Watishista Nalicia said “My inappropriate crush would be Jurgen Klinsman. Being that he could have been my dad, but I just can’t help it. He looks so damn good for his age and he dresses well. I lurve it when a man knows how to dress himself.” The ever helpful watishista Jenny hilariously replied “I’m old enough to do him on a hard surface. I can do it and report back! Sounds like a plan? Save you the trouble and all that…I had his poster in my room as a teen – at eye-level so I could kiss him on the mouth before bed.” I love this blog. I truly do. Y’all are terrific. (P.S. USA! USA! USA!)
Awwww, damn! I somehow missed this Drool Amnesty sign-up thing. Looks like fun too. Really need to visit this site more often 😦
Oh, this could have easily been one of my picks. As a kid living on Aruba (Dutch territory, ergo Nederland was our team by default) it was considered near treason among my classmates back in 1998 to show any sort of support or admiration towards Germany, but I just had the biggest 6th grade crush on Klinsmann … which was all kinds of ookie because he strongly resembles an uncle of mine (not blood-related). To this day I refuse to consider what the implications are, though my sister just loooooves to remind me of them O.o
You can still send in suggestions for Drool Amnesty – it’s going all month and yes, you should visit more often – we miss you! 🙂
U r soooo lucky. I would seriously stalk him if I lived there. Life is so unfair….
i’m excited/scared to see how he pilots the USMNT through the next part of the qualifying process. more important, i loved the sweater he wore for the US/mexico game. made me want to snuggle with him.
My Klinsi poster got so much love!
This man only gets sexier with age.
I was so disappointed when Kiessling cut his hair. Because if you squinted and pretended it was c. 1990 you could totally imagine it was Klinsi – even the run and the position on the pitch was the same.
