I’m leaving for the airport in an hour or so if I can peel Max the Cat off me. He’s very sad. I hate leaving him behind but he’s not a beach sort of cat! Maisougio will be your daily Perv Concierge while I’m sunning my rivaling-Iker-Casillas-pallor in Mexico for a couple of days with watishista P. So this will be a drive by. The day has been textbook Lozil thus far. I tripped over my suitcase earlier and nearly knocked myself out. Never fails. I am the world’s biggest klutz. So I’ll be starting the vacation bruised but hopefully I’ve gotten all the drama out of the way. If I owe you an email, please forgive me – I’m totally behind on work, packing, everything. I’ll get on it when I return next week.
The team trained again today and the good news is that Mesut was back with them – hooray! Looks like he’ll be just fine for the final on Friday.
The team had a little get together luncheon after training today. Looks like it was a rainy day in Madrid but Marcelo brought the sunshine with his smile. They also signed and posed for waiting fans, although Cris managed an epic stank face. I can understand though. He must get it all the time no matter where he goes.
The Baby shared a picture on Facebook saying the operation was a success and thanked everyone for all their encouragement. Animo Baby!
Adidas shared a shot of the ball for the Copa Del Rey final. I see you there, Copa Del Rey! You can try to hide behind the ball but Sergio will still find you!
Watishista Julia tweeted this shot with the comment:“Unclear if Hazard is celebrating Lamps’ record-breaking goal or Fer’s ovary-bursting bum. Quality.” I nearly wept with laughter. Well spotted!
Speaking of Chelsea, Sky Sports had a special report on the lovely Juanin and Fernando was the guest star.
He’s too adorable! I can’t get enough of Juan Mata. I wish they had interviewed Pirata as well. You can bet that’s where he got the Murakami book on his bedside table.
MLS side Portland Timbers have a large and vocal fanbase. The Timbers Army did a fantastic tifo in support of the LGBT community and against homophobia in the game.
