International Champions Cup Schedule & Tickets On Sale

29 May

581736_663010023726162_754597692_nWell, it’s all been announced and I’m trying to make peace with the fact that I’m not going to see Real Madrid this summer unless I fly to LA, Phoenix or Miami. BUGGER!

I shouldn’t bitch because the East semi-finals will take place at Met Life Stadium in NJ on Sunday, August 4th. The tickets range from $55-250 and as far as I can tell, it’s for both matches so that’s not bad, really. The teams involved will be AC Milan, Valencia, Chelsea and Inter Milan. I’ve not seen two of those teams live (Valencia & Inter Milan), so that will be nice. West coasters will get Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, Everton and Juventus. I’ve seen all those teams but Everton play so, ::shrugs::, I’ll have to get over myself. Anyhow, here’s the full schedule. I’m pissed that many of the times are not yet set in stone. This makes it impossible if someone wanted to,  say, fly in for the game after calling in sick and then fly out at the ass crack of dawn to get back in time for work. Not that I would do anything of the sort. Ahem.

So, who is going where? If anyone is making it to any RM matches, we’d appreciate full reports back!

– Lozil

I got the PreSale Password and when you clickthru to buy tix on TM, it has the times for all the matches.

    • headbandsandheartbreak May 29, 2013 at 6:05 pm #

I’m so annoyed with them – I signed up for the list and didn’t get a pre-sale password like they promised. I can see the times on Ticketmaster but it shows 4:00 PM as the kickoff for both matches which obviously isn’t right. Do you see something different and could you share the East Coast semi-final times?

      • Sasha-Roo May 29, 2013 at 6:28 pm #

I signed up for the presale as well. The email went to my spam so you may want to check..I have a question, for the Miami matches since it’s a double header are the tickets valid for both days/matches?

        • headbandsandheartbreak May 29, 2013 at 6:29 pm #

Don’t know. That’s not exactly clear. I’m guessing the tickets are for the day only. If there are two matches on the day…

          • Mehreh May 29, 2013 at 6:40 pm #

my understanding is that if it’s a doubleheader, the ticket is for both games. at least for the NYC games it is. if that’s true, it’s a great deal. good luck!

        • headbandsandheartbreak May 29, 2013 at 6:43 pm #

Yep, found it in spam. They only sent it out like an hour ago!

          • realmadridlookbook May 29, 2013 at 8:54 pm #

I saw the code on tumblr before I saw it my spam. haha.

            • i-mconen July 28, 2013 at 11:44 am #

Do you have presale code?? Please

              • headbandsandheartbreak July 28, 2013 at 2:24 pm #

Hi – No need for a pre-sale code. All the tickets have been on sale to the public for awhile now. I don’t know where you are but if you are interested in the East Semi-Finals at Met Life Stadium for next weekend, Living Social has discount tickets. I should post something about this – thanks for the reminder!

        • Anonymous May 29, 2013 at 10:23 pm #

Yeah, I got my presale password super late in the day. I was a like a crazy lady refreshing my email all day. Got my Miami tickets though 🙂 And they’re good for all four games!

  3. Sasha-Roo May 29, 2013 at 7:02 pm #

Haha yeah mine was sent around the same time, I only remembered to check when I saw your post. Guess I’m a bit confused about the MIA matches because when you click on buy tickets for either day it’s has Tues Aug 6th-Wed Aug 7th at the top of the ticketmaster page and not the individual day.

    • kylaaiko May 29, 2013 at 10:27 pm #

I bought my Miami tickets and they’re good for both days, all four games 🙂

      • realmadridlookbook May 30, 2013 at 10:37 am #

Wait does that mean one ticket pays for all four games??? (Sorry if you just answered that, but I’m still confused. haha)

        • headbandsandheartbreak May 30, 2013 at 11:39 am #

I think Kylaaiko meant that she got *good seats* for both day, not that one ticket was enough for all 4 games.

          • k May 30, 2013 at 11:49 am #

It would be nice to sort it out before i buy… On vivid seats they are selling 1 ticket good for both games on tuesday. Then you have to buy a separate ticket good for both games on wednesday.
Can whoever bought from Ticketmaster tell me why they think they can attend both days 4 games with 1 ticket?

        • Kyla Timberlake (@kylaaiko) May 30, 2013 at 12:14 pm #

Yes. I bought mine on TicketMaster and one ticket purchased got me a pass for Day 1 AND a pass for Day 2. And each day pass is valid for both games.

I’m not sure about other sites, but that’s how TicketMaster worked as of last night.

          • k May 30, 2013 at 12:17 pm #

Great! Thanks Kyla. I have since talked to ticketmaster and they confirmed it too. Great deal!

            • Kyla Timberlake (@kylaaiko) May 30, 2013 at 12:31 pm #

It really IS a great deal. I wasn’t planning on going for both days, (I just wanted to go to the last day) but now that I have tickets for both, what the heck! 🙂

      • k May 30, 2013 at 11:25 am #

        Are you sure?

      • k May 30, 2013 at 11:26 am #

Are you sure? it would be great if you could see all 4 games with 1 ticket but on stubhub they are selling tickets separately for tuesday and wednesday….

        • headbandsandheartbreak May 30, 2013 at 11:39 am #

I think Kylaaiko meant that she got *good seats* for both day, not that one ticket was enough for all 4 games.

I bought my tickets from Ticketmaster and it’s good for all four games. You actually get a ticket for the 6th (good for both games) and a ticket for the 7th (also good for both games). So if you purchase two tickets/seats (like I did), you actually get four (one for each day).

I was confused when I was in the process of buying them because it didn’t let you choose a date, but I just went with it and at the end I downloaded my tickets and to my surprise, I had tickets to both days.

So for the price of one seat you get to see four games!

I’m so confused. A couple months ago, they announced that Madrid would be playing in D.C on August 7th, which is the date of the two final games… Does anybody know if they’re just not going to play in D.C. at all? Or will they change the date? They never had an opponent or venue, but they announced it a while ago. I’m so desperate to see them play, and as a poor recently graduated college student, D.C. was my best bet. Ahhhhh, I need info on this please, please!

    • realmadridlookbook May 29, 2013 at 8:55 pm #

I think they scrapped that entirely after the ICC was created. And Im just as disappointed =/

They all seem to forget about the Great Northwest! We have a soccer team too! Also, at the Camp Nou in Feb last, it sure spoiled me for life. I splurged on to get a ticket that was about 5 rows from the pitch. I would sure like to see any match.

  6. camimadridista May 29, 2013 at 7:53 pm #

Planning on attending the LA games and excited about the doubleheader!
Still waiting for ticket info for those games.

Suddenly having a parent in Florida is awesome!

So if Mou does indeed go to Chelsea, we could already be facing him this summer….

    • headbandsandheartbreak May 29, 2013 at 9:59 pm #

Don’t forget, if he goes to Chelsea he’ll also face Pep Guardiola right away as well! As coaches of Chelsea (Europa League winners) and Bayern (Champions League winners), they’ll face each other in the UEFA Super cup on August 30th in Prague. It’s gonna feel like he never left! 😉

      • Mehreh May 29, 2013 at 10:42 pm #

The media is going to be allllllll over that one. I’m delighted.
