Ugh. This Day. Have Some Enzo.

1 Jun

BLnZqKyCYAAFRWpI pretty much hate everything about today. Saying goodbye is not my thing and it’s to Mou, (and the bulk of the coaching staff), Essien, probably Adan and now, Pipita announced he’s going in his post match remarks. Fuck this. Here’s some Enzo but I’m not sure even he can make it better right now. (Pics & video via MGEF)

tumblr_mnmy4hPWBL1qa3jw0o1_500Enzo is off with his papi and the Brazil National Team. He was delightfully interviewed as part of a longer piece on the squad. You have to watch, it’s adorable! He’s a little terror. Here’s some gifs courtesy of fatridista.

I love how much of a kick Marcelo gets out of Enzo. Y0u can tell how much he adores his baby. His teammates seem to like Enzo as well. Clarice posted a piccy of Enzo with his new friend Ezio.

Ah, such cuteness! I have a ton of stuff that I didn’t post yesterday and then I have more from today. I have a friend coming over now for lunch and then I’m heading off to a NY Red Bulls game with watishista forzasusan, so it’s going to have to wait until late tonight or tomorrow. I think I need to step away from the computer or I’ll spend the day wallowing in my sadness. I suggest y’all do the same.

HALA MADRID!

Pipa’s leaving?! Where to? 😦 But, yes, that Enzo is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Yupp, Pipita said he’s leaving. He said he was with Real for seven years and that his time to leave has come. Now we know why Karim’s fourth captain … 😦

Pipa’s leaving 😦 could this season get any worse ???

I’m going to miss his scrumptious booty

Okay, Pipa’s goodbye was a little cold…. 😦 (Who are you going to talk the pants off in another team?)
    As was Mou’s.
Arbie made some great post-match comments; love him and his honesty.

Maybe Pipa’s long chats with Chori were about: “should I stay or should I go?” or “Chori, give me a reason to stay.”

      • futbolfan June 2, 2013 at 2:34 am #

Lol, to which I’m sure Chori would have a lot to respond with, no? Like you’ve been playing here for so long, you pretty much grew up here, the fans love you, you have an endless supply of bromances, you have people like me to listen to your blabbering, and you still haven’t won a champs league with the team you’ve worked so damn hard for!

Ugh, well if chori couldn’t come up with a reason, I sure could.

You’d make a better Chori than Chori!

I’m going to miss Pipa soooo much! He bled white through and through, and always gave his all on the pitch. Last year we were all singing “Quedate Pipa” and this year some fans at the Bernabéu have whistled at him and booed him – wrong on so many levels!

Oh, how I reminisce about Pipa and his applebum….

Well, here’s a little video to cheer everyone up and let us all sit back and remember happier and more joyful times….last season.
All that’s left to say is: Pipa, you just shake that booty!

pause…repeat…pause…repeat…I am so stuck on this.

I ended up falling asleep before the end of the game (it started at 11pm here) and I woke up to the wrap up and confirmation he is leaving! awful, but good luck to him in the future. Will definitely keep an eye on him wherever he goes next season.

Been hearing that Pipita would be leaving for a while now, so his post-match confirmation didn’t come as a shock, but it’s still heartbreaking. I just have this strange notion in my head that when a player’s been with a club for so long they’ll just stay on FOREVER. A part of me was hoping that he’d at least stay another year, post-Mou, to see if his fortune changes, but looks like he’s really had enough. Am not an Argentina fan, and I only follow Real Madrid and (occasionally) Bayern Munich, so does this mean I’ll never be able to see him play unless Holland and/or Germany face Argentina, or Real face his new team? Fucking depressed now 😦
