11:15 AM Press Conference with Del Bosque
1:30 PM Chat and videos
2:30 PM Press Conference with Arbeloa and Piqué
7:30 PM Official Training at the Yankee Stadium
The team arrived at 7:30 PM Eastern yesterday and are staying at the Ritz Carlton Central Park. I know many of you will want to know if the practice tonight is open. My guess is that it is not, but I’ll check with the Yankees. However, it’s just gone 8 AM here so I may not be able to find out for awhile.

David Villa is walking around New York with murse and I wish I had never seen it. Well I laughed about it like crazy, but then I wanted to forget I’d ever seen it.

I was laughing my ass off when I saw that earlier. Between the murse and the hideous jeans… Oh Villa.
The best thing is that he’s so proud of the whole look. He put effort into taking a picture and posting it on the internet to basically say “Hey you guys, check out my steez! And I’m walking around like this on the hip streets of NYC! Aren’t you all jealous?!”
But still I wouldn’t trade this version of Villa for all the awesome denim in the world!
And all the NYers were probably doing a double take. Villa would be thinking “it’s because I’m famous” while the NYers would be like “WTF is he wearing?!” 😉 I wouldn’t trade him either.
David Villa must be so stoked about his anti-mugger style.
I thought of this too. I was like “Maybe he’s really paranoid about getting mugged?” Still there are better ways to get around that.

Turns out they practiced at Red Bulls Stadium and just finished. 😦 We’re Red Bulls season ticket holders so if it had been open, I’m sure we would have heard something.
But that stadium doesn’t have a roof does it? So La Roja was practicing in Harrison, NJ IN THE RAIN and I had no idea. I would have hauled ass over to Harrison for that. Not cool!
