Lordy, I have so many bits & bobs, I don’t even have a clue where to start. Ugh. How’s about I just begin with our boys? Here’s Iker (or rather Geeker from the looks of it) with a fan. Our intrepid capi also posted a shot of his good friend Roy Batty from Blade Runner who was enjoying some LA poolside tanning.
Hmmm, if Sese is Roy Batty based on hair, does that make long hair era Nando into Pris, the basic pleasure model? Yes, I think it does and I like that idea very much. Sorry, Blade Runner may be my favorite movie of all time.
Luka has buddied up with Mesut & Sami and they make a cute little crew running around LA.
Mesut announced two projects today. The first is his new website. “dear fans, today my new website http://www.mesutoezil.com is launched. hope you like it and you guys find my favorite songs in “my music” as dope as i do! just check it out and click through the sites…” Yeah, well, I haven’t had time to check out his site for any dope-ness but I’ll give it a go at some point.
But that’s not all! He also has a new logo. Someone’s been working overtime on the marketing, eh? “dear fans! i am also very proud to present my new logo today, which you can see on a shirt from my adidas friends. have fun discovering where the logo will appear in the future…”
Not exactly sold on that logo. It looks like a misshapen bowling ball or something.
Oh Sergio did us a favor and covered up that stank hair with a baseball cap. I never thought I’d be happy to see him wearing one of his hats. How times change. Remember when our worst drama was him wearing a stupid flat cap or a bedazzled trucker hat?
DLo had a few piccies with new goalkeeping coach Villiam Vecchi and of course, with David Beckham. Don’t forget that their time at Real Madrid overlapped.
BTW, have you seen this video of a 17 year old Davy Becks going over media training? The video is going to auction soon and it also features bebe Giggs, Scholes and Neville. It’s a hoot.
Kaka hung out with actor Jamie Foxx, comedian P and also his buds Lucas, Thiago Silva & good ol’ Casanova Casemiro.
Karim, oh Karim, ye of the wretched pelt that is at least not bleached. Many pictures of you today! There’s a few typical ones, hanging in LA, an Adidas ad, meeting D.Becks but I’m cracking up at the hipster ones and the one with him duckfacing next to a little girl? Priceless. How about checking in with two of our favorite former players: El Pirata and Raul? El P is still at QPR. I’m really hoping someone snaps him up!
In the first picture, he looks like someone questioned the validity of his indie cred. Heavens forbid! It’s like someone said “I bet you have a huge collection of Michel Telo bootlegs.” It’s that kinda look. And we all know how he feels about Michel Telo.
Raul, Mamen and the kids were vacationing in Menorca. Look how big Maria is getting! (You can click any picture to see the gallery larger).
Mamen looks amazing in a bikini. And she’s had 5 kids! But I can’t help but notice that man behind her in some sort of thong. Oy vey.
Another little family having fun were Pique, Shakira and Milan. They posted some vacation shot and Milan is now in the studio while his mami is recording.

Man, that song. It’s catchy as hell but between the lyrics that sound like a manifesto for date rape and the naked ladies video, I’m shaking my head.
I was into this song and had it on repeat for a while especially at the gym, but the more I listened to it, the more I realized how grossed out I was by the lyrics. I was like, “well it looks like Robin Thicke went for the dudebro easy sell.”
“dudebro easy sell” is SPOT ON. At first I was like “Hmmm, doesn’t he know how rapey this comes off?” But then the title “Blurred Lines” cleared that right up.

Milan is just the cutest woobins ever! I saw pics of Pique and Shakira frolicking in the surf in Hawaii, and six months after giving birth, and her belly is flat! How does she do it?!?

Hi rere – Welcome! I understand what the logo is representing – Mesut is my favorite player – I just don’t like the actual design. But it’s just a personal preference thing. I know some people really like it. As for me, I wouldn’t wear a logo that big on a shirt. It’s massive!
