Friday Training, Transfer Drama, Spain Call Ups

30 Aug

Entrenamiento (9)Casanova picked a great person to bromance with, didn’t he? Casacelo? Anyhow, these two were adorable at training. You can see them goofing around in the video after the jump.

Sami, The Ramos & Lady Edith rejoined the group today. Fabio & Mesut stayed inside. The Baby, Jesus & Denis continued their recovery and Xabi did rehabilitation work.

As we inch ever closer to the end of the tranfer window, thank fuck, we’re on more than just BaleWatch. The big news was that yesterday after the game with Deportivo, Kaka straight up said that he wants to leave and he wants the club to help make that happen.  Here’s the video. Lots of peeps thought he would stick around till at least January since Ancelotti seemed keen to keep him, but he wants out by Monday. A little while ago, Sky Italia reported that RM is willing to let him go on a free but AC Milan wants a loan deal. Only time will tell how it plays out, but what seems clear is that as of Monday, Shigs is probably going to be a whole lot more relaxed when watching RM play. Just to give her one good scare for old times sake, check out this hilariously inappropriate picture that BBC Sport used to illustrate their article on this topic:

_69552936_kaka_afp2Yeah, that one is totally going to give her nightmares for sure.

Basque Country is agreeing with El Pirata – he’s tweeting more often. He’s got himself a new shirt. A RAWK shirt, apparently. Dork. (and I say that lovingly)

PirataHe also recommended some beach reading. Hitch-22: A Memoirs by Christopher Hitchens. I wholeheartedly agree with his choice.

BS3k5SvCMAAtPXySo who is your companion on your beach day, Pirata? Inquiring minds want to know! (Unless you bring multiple pairs of shoes to the beach…)

More later…

Yes yes!! I was hoping for a (Marcemiro?) bromance! Casemiro seems almost as smiley and full of positive energy as our original Sunshine. This is bringing me such joy!

I’m sad Juan was left out of the squad and is sitting on the bench at Chelsea too 😦 Hope it turns around for him soon.
It was very sweet of Nando to hold up 10 fingers when he scored tonight and dedicate his goal to Juan. Junando breaking my heart!
