Oh man. Not that he needs anything to add to his hotness but if he was wandering around in a full Viking regalia, I would be lost. Lost in a good way.

He looks like he’d do well on Sons of Anarchy… And I definitely wouldn’t say no to him on a motorcycle (or, you know, off the motorcycle. I’m not picky)

So, this happened to me yesterday. I’m putting it here only because I don’t have that many people to tell that would actually understand.
I had the day off and decided I’d take my mom to the movies. They were playing Blue Jasmine (pretty good movie if you enjoy the Woody Allenness of it all) at a local mall. We walked in and had to walk past a sports bar to get to the theater. They have these massive screens along the back wall and they’re usually playing baseball or (American) football. So, anyway, we’re walking past and on one of the screens is a close up of Mesut (in that god-awful yellow shirt, yet he looks good in it? The world is a strange place) and I promptly start freaking out. B/c omg, Real are playing today? How did I forget that? I didn’t even DVR the match! Before i realize, oh. not Real, Arsenal. i knew that…
In the process I’ve come to a complete standstill staring at the screen from the mall walkway. My mom is less than surprised as I’ll sometimes do this to catch a glimpse of a score to some game so she doubles back to me and looks a little concerned when she asks, “are you alright? Did your team lose? You look a little flushed”
When she asked me if my team had lost, I really felt the correct answer was yes…

Awwwww. You’ll get through this!!! My family and friends just politely and vacantly nod when I go on about soccer.

I really thought I had moved on and was ok!

Haha, you should see how fast my sister’s eyes glaze over when I start waxing poetic about soccer

Yes, they just don’t get it. But I’m that way (glassy-eyed autopilot) when my brothers talk about golf.

Oh yes, totally the same here. Cannot get behind golf. My poor father, he’s never quite recovered…
