International Break Means Get Your Worst Outfit Ready…

…at least for Sergio it does. What. The. Actual. Fuck. Is. He. Wearing. Dear Lord, just when you thought you’ve seen the worst from him!

SMH!! It really is pointless to do this, but let’s try and figure out what “look” he was going for when he left his house today. Was he going for the tough, bullet proof vest look? In that case, no Sergio. Bad, bad, bad, Sergio! Was he just trying to take a piece of his baby mama with him, meant to take Pilar’s tank & wear it UNDERNEATH, but was running late & improvised? Sergio, that’s still a no no. OR is it possible that he bought his hoodie this way…..do we know for sure that the tank part isn’t actually attached?? Ay, ay, ay, Sergio. I’m not even going to talk about the pocket on his jeans, that runs parallel to his crotch. Madre mia, indeed.

“What do you mean, I shouldn’t be trying to start trends?”

Llorente – “It is always a joy to return to the Spanish national team. I’ve had a logical adaptation period with Juventus and now I am fully adapted to Juventus.”

Diego had to drop out of what would have been his first bout with La Roja, due to a hamstring injury, and Fernando Llorente was called up to take his place. I won’t say I’m happy about his injury, but I sure am happy to have Llorente with the team. A knee injury also kept Cesc from joining in on the NT action, Barca teammate Marc Bartra was called up to replace him.

All the pretties made their way to the Teatro Compac de la Gran Via for the new La Roja kit presentation. Is it just me or did the red of the Spain track suits get prettier? VdB looks like a sporty Santa, but instead of delivering gifts to footy fans only once a year, every few months he shares with us the hottest of Spanish men! Thank you Santa VdB.

Iker, Villa, Xabi, & Sergio took turns speaking about their goals and road to the World Cup.

Xabi: [google really fudged the translation, so this is what I think he said..] It’s different for me not having participated in the Confederations Cup, but now with much importance I want to move forward very much.

Sergio: “Soccer City is always a nice memory and to go back there will be very special. We have to be grateful and give back how well we were treated at that time.”

“Our team is very confident, eager. We can not live in the past, it doesn’t pay to remember if we don’t live in the present.”

Villa: “What we got in South Africa was not easy, have much capacity, we know all rivals, there is time ahead of us but the goal is to get it back.”

Iker: “Selection is always an honor, we want to do something important in the face of Brazil’s WC and come back to make history.”

Lastly, an itty bitty social media round up before all the boys get selfie happy. Juan Mata shared a pic with Figo and Iker took to Instagram to document the growing of his Movember pornstache and mini vacay with Mama Sara in Paris.

I’m sure this is the unpopular opinion, but damn it, I think I like the pornstache on Iker. Maybe he’s having a ‘I need to look like a Dad’ moment, like Nando did when he dyed his hair brown. A little mustache never hurt nobody….just don’t go Hulk Hogan on us please. As we all know with our style challenged footballers, a little men’s grooming (or lack there of) can get ugly quick.
