And three cheers for all the shots of his water therapy, they are most pleasant, indeed. About this shot he said “Day 59: After training I float with closed eyes. I’ve been scoring a lot of goals in goal back” I’m guessing he means in his head?
He’s shared both old and new pictures along with the beauty of San Sebastian. (He seems to be very happy there.) He even took time to send encouragement to Sami Khedira who is going through his own injury battle. I think it’s good for him to share the process and document it. Gotta be therapeutic on a lot of levels. Plus everyone has been tweeting him support which helps. He knows we’re behind him.

I’d be totally good with not understanding him at all, though; I can always just oggle.
His comment in the video about how he has a very small group of friends which got even smaller after the injury really hit home. It hurts deeply when people run away when you need them more. I’m very glad though those that stayed have a stronger bond which is exactly it should be. We shy introverts don’t need a lot of friends, just pure quality friends. 🙂
I agree! Nothing like a personal set back to learn it’s not about how many people like you, it’s about the quality of those friendships.

I miss him all too much. And I’m still bummed that I missed him coming to San Se. Would have loved to see him walking around the streets.
