First Leg of the Last 16

14 Jan

YEAHH! Not only did we score two goals in the first leg of the Last 16 and keep a clean sheet, but it was also Iker’s first match as San Daddy! We’re looking good going into tomorrow’s second leg, let’s hope we finish this tie off, awesomely.

Cris and his protege spent some time chatting it up before the match started and whatever was said worked for Jese!

*BOOP* “You will score one goal.”

We’ve been working those headers lately, haven’t we? That’s how Benz opened the scoring in the 19th minute, with a smashing header untouched by Osasuna’s defense.

How long until he starts putting stripes in his beard?

See what whisperings from Crissy and one of his assists can do for you? It can provide you with a lovely goal, which Jese rounded out the match with in the 60th minute.

Ten minutes after his goal, Jese was done. Suffering from some leg cramps, he was replaced by Isco.

The two final changes were Morata for Benz in the 81st minute and Casemiro for Illarra in the 88th.
