And here I was last week thinking Spain needs some of his tough love to re-spark for this summer. Xavi’s face during the tribute today said it all. Much loved man by this generation and imagine tears flowing freely for many incl Xavi and Torres.

I’ve been bummed about it all day. It’s heartbreaking reading all the boys’ comments and goodbyes to him.

Spanish soccer owes him a great deal. May he rest in peace.

His passing is a great loss to Spanish football. He raised a generation of champions. May he rest in peace.
