Pepsi & The Art Of Football Collaboration

18 Feb

Pepsi_WC_Wallpaper_1600x1200Pepsi’s Live for Now campaign continues with a super awesome collaboration called The Art of Football between 6 players (Sergio Ramos,  Lionel Messi, David Luiz, Kun Aguero, Jack Wilshere and Robin van Persie), world renowned photog Danny Clinch & 6 well known street artists  (Hattie Stewart, Zosen, Ricardo AKN, Ever, Merijn Hos & Jaz).

Danny Clinch photographed the players and then turned them over to the artists for their interpretation. The results were six fantastic 10′ by 10′ canvases that represented the spirit of each player’s home country.

Here are the original photos:

Hattie Stewart – The London-based artist / ‘professional doodler’ is taking the creative world by storm with her quirky, youthful, comic book-esque magazine covers and shop fronts and recently announced a partnership with fashion designer Marc Jacobs.

I love both the photos and the artists’ reinterpretations. Kudos to Pepsi for a really interesting, creative campaign that is bringing attention to artists.
