Recovery Session for Some &An Ended Season for One

19 Mar

Well, it’s official, Jese’s season has come to an end after tearing his ACL. What a way for him to go out 😦 It’s such a shame to see this happen when he’s been doing so well lately.

Real Madrid player Jesé Rodríguez, who has been diagnosed with a complete tear of the cruciate ligament in his right knee, will travel to Doctor Ulrich Boenisch’s practice in Augsburg (Germany) in the coming hours to carry out preparations for surgery. The consultation will be supervised by Doctors Jesús Olmo and Francisco Morate from the Sanitas-Real Madrid medical services.

We’re sending good vibes his way and wishing Jese a speedy recovery. Animo Jese! Many of his teammates took to twitter to wish him the same, as well.

“The shocks of adversity are very bitter, but never futile.”

“You’ll soon be delighting the world with your football.”

“Will make you suffer, will make you better.”….or something along those lines, thanks Google.

It’s hard to celebrate a match that takes out one of our boys, but we should be happy that we made it to the Champions League quarter finals! A recovery session was held for the team today, with seven of the boys on the field and the rest training indoors.

Those training outside were divided into two groups, Marcelo, Modric, Carvajal & Casemiro making up the first group and Iker, DLo, & Jesus making up the second. Arbeloa & Khedira also trained indoors continuing on the road to recovery.

It’s going to be a big week for these guys, training and working up to this Sunday’s dun dun dun…..El Clasico!

Why do teams keep breaking our boys?! I’ve had enough of injuries!

Sad for Jese as there was talk of him possibly getting a spot on the World Cup squad as well 😦

Animo bichito! (Thank Iker for that one)

That’s gotta hurt really bad. Animo, Jese! For now, we’ll just enjoy Music Career Boy.

I think the good news is that the advances in medicine mean that he’ll get better and stronger quickly. Not like when Ronaldo tore his and it was nearly career ending
