Saturday’s performance against Osasuna better have been a preview of what we’re going to see tomorrow! Heavy on the goals, that’s the kinda thing we like (and need) ’round here!!
Prior to the Osasuna booty whoopin’, our captains took the opportunity to show off our Copa del Rey trophy to the fans.
A moment of silence was observed in memory of Tito Vilanova and both teams wore black armbands for the match.
Wasting no time in proving that he was 100% fit and ready to be back in action was Cristiano, scoring his first goal of the night in the 6th minute.
He wasn’t just ready to score goals of his own, but also ready to set up goals for others. Sergio was on the hunt for a goal & Crissy was more than happy to try and make it happen. You generous thing, you.
Are you ready to go awwwwwwww? Are you ready to SQUEE? Prepare yourself for these next gifs….Just before halftime, Morata took a boot to the head after colliding with Andres and Arribas. What did that get him, besides a sore skull? Kissies from Isco! OMGERD SO KEWTTTT!
Back to the booty whoopin’, Cristiano made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute. Check that whoppa of a goal!
Soon after, Sergio scored one of his own as well. He FINALLY got to partake in the daddy-to-be goal dedication tradition. If you were in denial about Sese becoming a papa before, those thumb sucking pics sure are making it all sink in now, huh?
There was one more before the night was over, a spectacular header from Carvajal! Little one can jump!
It was a good night….and nekkidness made it even better.

Post Match Comments
From Realmadrid.com
Ancelotti:
Carlo Ancelotti spoke in the press room at the Santiago Bernabéu after Real Madrid’s big win over Osasuna: “Everything went well for Cristiano and for all of the players. There were no problems and some have had a rest. The match was good, not high intensity, and Cristiano showed he is fine. He played with more security and confidence than on Wednesday”.
“You can see the atmosphere. We are happy because it is an important aid that the ambience and group are like that and I’m sure it will help s for the next games. We want to do well and with this atmosphere the team can do more”.
Second leg against Bayern
“I’m sure that I am going to pick an XI with a lot of desire and illusion. Everyone needs to be calm as we are going to prepare well. I have a lot of confidence in the players and they all need to have it. The objective is to score and not defend. This is the line we’re going to work along”.
“Benzema is improving and there will be no problems for Tuesday. Tomorrow he will train without problems and will be fine. Bale had the flu on Wednesday and was weak and we preferred that he did individual training this morning and now he’s better”.
Morata’s performance
“I’ve never asked the forwards to score. Sometimes I ask Cristiano, because I’m sure he won’t miss. Álvaro worked well against a closed Osasuna defence. His work this season is good and I hope he stays here as we need another forward. He can grow close to Karim and Cristiano. He needs to play more but that’s something we’ll talk of at the end of the season”.
Memories of Tito Vilanova
“I didn’t have a lot of time with him. Last year I played against Barcelona with PSG. The impression I got was the he was a relaxed and serene man. We are saddened because he is a colleague that has left is. Now all our support goes to the family and Barcelona, because they’ve lost an important figure for the club”.
Sergio:
Sergio Ramos, one of the goalscorers in the win over Osasuna, evaluated Real Madrid’s latest victory in their fight for the league: “We are very happy for the win. We played a serious game and we have to carry on this road until the end of the season. We have four finals in the league and we are going to try and win them all. The score was fair. Tonight we saw a very serious and applied Real Madrid”.
“I’ve finally been able to score and dedicate the strike to my future son before he’s born. It wasn’t an obsession, but it came when I least expected it. I came in at the back and surprised everyone by scoring. Now we will enjoy the win and tomorrow start to think about the Champions League. We have to give everything on Tuesday as we are playing for a place in the final”.

Marcelo showed his satisfaction at coming back in the Real Madrid win over Osasuna: “I was keen to return. I wanted to help the side and thanks to God, the physios and doctors that have helped me and ensured I’m 100%. When I’m available to help the side and the boss doesn’t pick me it’s normal I’m not happy and I want to play. The manager decides and I was to play as many games as I possibly can”.
“We are good. We now have to rest and think in the important game on Tuesday. The next game is always the most important and that’s how I see it. We have a chance to go through. We have to go into the game relaxed, with humility and respect for the opponent. We will see what happens and if the trees burn or not”.
The two Cristiano Ronaldo stunners
“We’re used to seeing top goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and I’m pleased for him. They were top drawer”.
Condolences to Tito’s family
“It was a great shame. He was an example to football. I want to send a big hug to his friends and family”.
Casemiro:
Casemiro was full of praise for Cristiano Ronaldo, the author of last night’s first two goals: “Cristiano is a machine. He’s always trying to break records and for us it’s nothing new. Us players are all doing well. It was an important win. We have to continue fighting to win La Liga. From an individual standpoint, it’s important to play”.
“Those who are doing well are those who play and we want to continue fighting in order to win as many titles as possible. The game on Tuesday will be difficult. We learned our mistakes against Borussia Dortmund and will give it our all to reach the final of the Champions League. Real Madrid always plays to win”.
Nacho also made mention of the importance of the three points picked up against Osasuna: “We had to win today, and must keep fighting right until the end for La Liga. We’re not concerned with what other teams are doing, we’re just thinking about winning and then we’ll see how the rest get on. Atlético have a hard match coming up in a tough ground. There haven’t been many times that the team has been so close to winning all three competitions”.
Cristiano Ronaldo
“It is a pleasure to have Cristiano on our team. The Madrid fans and players alike are happy about the last few wins. We have a final coming up on Tuesday, it will be a tough match and we hope to put the result to bed. We are full of confidence and will be out to show that. We are a very tight outfit and that is for all to see on the pitch”.
Tito Vilanova
“It is a sad day for the world of football. A great person has left us. I offer his family and friends my deepest condolences. Team colours have nothing to do with things like this”.

HALA MADRID!!!!
-Maisougio
When I saw Isco kiss Morata’s boo boo, I had a little squee to myself – I totally admit it! It’s Muppet Baby Love! 😉
How adorable was that? Awwwwwww…..
Some people will probably say it’s the paternal instincts kicking in….but those who know better, know it’s true lurve!
Don’t you wish that, like in basketball, goals scored from outside the box were worth 3 points?
YASSSSSSSS!!!! Imagine the damage we could do against our opponents since Cris has got rocket launchers for feet.
Not just Cris, but Xabi and Modric, too! We do have some rocket launchers on our team!
