Perhaps. But I Bet Zlatan Is Side Eyeing You Pretty Damn Hard.

10309025_495048100595192_7698457991617560928_nSo Mesut got himself a tattoo. As footballers tend to do. Everyone was squeeing about this since the tattoo artist posted a shot with him earlier this month. They were all aflutter wondering what it could be: a declaration of love for Sergio (or heck, even Mandy)? Something to do with football, family or his dogs? What could it possibly be?! Well, now you can see that his tat says “Only God Can Judge Me.”  Gee, what other footballer famously has the same saying inked on him? That’s right, it’s Zlatan. It epitomizes his very Zlatan-ness.

zlatan tatSigh. I don’t think that’s what Ibra meant when he said “Dare to Zlatan.” However, maybe we can look forward to Mesut referring to himself in the third person, hunting in Sweden and kung fu kicking teammates and opponents alike? That might be fun.

It’s also forbidden for Christians to get tattoos but they do it all the time. It’s also forbidden for Muslims to drink alcohol… That hasn’t stopped the majority of our Muslim boys. It’s all about how you take your scripture (whether it’s the Bible, Quran, etc)

As in all things you can follow the rules you want…for Muslims and for Christians. For Christians it’s not forbidden to’ make tattoo and neither drink, it’s better not to do it, but I’m free to do it

Yeah, forbidden was a bad choice of a word. But there is a passage in the bible somewhere about not marking your body. It’s been years since I’ve read it. But my father likes to quote it at me every time I make mention of my next tattoo.

Oh my. Don’t get me wrong. Mesut is awesome, but that tat does not fit him.
    Zlatan is a god.

Oh, Mesut. That is silly. In far better Ozil news, anyone know who the adorable baby he’s kissing on Instagram is?

The tattoo just seems so, I don’t know, immature on him? When Low et al were suggesting he needs to work on his body language, he seems to have misunderstood and set about proving them right.
