And it wouldn’t be a party without the families of the players in the house. Considering what a baby boom we’ve had the past year, it was no surprise to see all the little ones on the pitch (I think we’ll see even more babies this time next year).
San Baby made an appearance and charmed the hell out of everyone when he started bawling (as any 4 month old would be when confronted with that kind of cacophony).
Seeing Iker go into flustered papa mode was adorable. 80,000+ people in the Bernabeu cooed simultaneously and probably a few million more in cyberspace. Tios Sergio & Jese (both papis themselves) raced to assist. Sergio gave Martin his pacifier and Jese rubbed his tiny back. Pepe’s daughter Angeli gave Martin a smoochie. Too cute!
So many bebes were around! Angeli rocked her tutu and Ane Alonso was in a giggly mood. Our favorite little old lady & little old man babies, Alba & Raul Arbeloa were there with their cousin Yago (who doesn’t look elderly at all. Go figure). Jon Alonso & Enzo were unholy terrors ripping around the pitch non-stop. Isco managed to grab Enzo for a hot second before he escaped.
An exasperated Marcelo told the interviewer that he had to go find his kid as Enzo had run off yet again. Angel brought his precious Mia out, all dolled up in pink. Poor Zoe looked very unhappy and scared. That’s a lot of noise and uproar for a 2 year old woobins. Bale’s daughter Alba was completely adorable and proved that she has her old man’s speed. He spent a lot of time chasing her. Nagore had baby Emma in the stands and get this – Baby Sergio WAS there with his mami and grandparents but papi did not bring him on the pitch (also where was Daniela?!) I’m gonna start calling that child Blanket because that’s all we’ve seen of him to date. My theory is that they’ve sold the exclusive first pix to a magazine and they have to keep him under wraps until then. I believe that Vitoria & Andreia stayed in Portugal as did Irina. But where was Cris Junior? And the rest of Cristiano’s family? Vanja was there but I didn’t see Ivano & Ema. Jese Jr. lives in the Canary Islands so I didn’t expect to see him. Who else am I forgetting?
However, other family members were present like Morata’s sister, Caio & Yasmin and more. And now, a flood of bebe and family pix!

My first thought was a magazine deal too but then again I wouldn’t want to take a newborn out onto the pitch either. Hope we eventually do see some pics at some point.
On a slightly different note, anyone else noticed that NONE of the players who left in the summer have publicly congratulated the team on wining La Decima?
I am assuming that they did it privately especially since some of them (Mesut, Pipita, etc.) were supposed to be at the final.
Can’t get enough of all the cute little ones! That’s one of my favorite parts to these celebrations. Marcelo’s Enzo cracks me up. Wonder where he gets all that energy 🙂 I love that he and Jon were like little besties out there caring less about what was going on around them but just wanting to kick the ball around. And it sounded like Ane greeted the camera in Basque. I swear I heard a “kaixo” but I did have the whole thing on in the background while I was doing some work. But totally adorable.
That ball that Enzo and Jontxu were kicking around was an autographed game ball!
I’m loving this kiddie fest! It’s the best part, well…maybe after Drunk Xabi!
The profile shot of Pepe and his daughter is fantastic! I totally missed the Martin interactions with Jese and Sergio. I did see Enzo racing around and Marcelo giving up and walking away. My thought was ” if you think you’ve got some trouble now just wait till he’s older!”
Gotta say I didn’t think anyone could seem less maternal to me then Sara and Vanessa Lorenz but Pilar may just win that title.
