Real Madrid Liga Fixtures 2014/15 & Spanish Super Copa

24 Jul

Satellite (6)The 2014-2015 season fixtures have been announced along with info on the Super Copa.

The first leg of the Supercopa de España will be held against Atlético Madrid  on Tuesday,  August 19th at the Santiago Bernabéu. The second leg will take place on Friday, August 22nd at the Vicente Calderón. As a result, our first Liga game won’t be until August 24th and our opponent will be Cordoba.

I’m bummed that the first Liga Clasico is at home. It’s at the worst time of the year for me work wise. Bah humbug! No sneaking off to Spain again this year, I guess.

It’s going to be an interesting season. We have the potential to win 6 trophies (Champions League, Copa del Rey, La Liga, World Club Cup, Spanish Super Cup and European Super Cup). I say we should take ’em all. What do you think?

Six trophies? We’re going to need a deep bench to be able to field two whole teams for this! Just buy, don’t sell!

Yes, just buy don’t sell! It is best to have two real quality players for each position to avoid exhaustion and injuries. Madrid does not have to think traditionally and have some second class substitutes who play only in case of injuries etc, we can have two fields of great players!

We could always sneak off to Spain anyway… I know we can get tickets to any game we wish 😉

      Champions League perhaps? 😉

Oh, I’m still looking at my calendar and thinking about how I can get away for the Clasico. I’ll know more about the conference next week and we can discuss in Ann Arbor. If nothing else, yes, Champions League!
