Not only are we bidding adieu to another headband, we’re saying goodbye to one of the most luscious heads of hair in all of football. I, for one, am inconsolable. (*Sorry I traumatized some of you! I amended the title for better clarity.)
Memo Ochoa chopped off those gorgeous curls. WHHHHHHYYYYYY? The expressions of his companions on either side mirror the emotional journey I went through when I saw this picture.
Guy 1; :::nervously chewing fingernail:: “But doesn’t he understand that hair is the source of all power? You wear a headband to show that your almighty awesomeness can’t be contained! Who is Memo without his curls? Does he even exist? Who am I? Do I have a purpose? AAAARRRRGH!” ::has existential breakdown::

I will miss the hair….but with all the news of famous people dying lately….I guess I misinterpreted the headline.

Since I watched him when he was at America, he always had curly hair. It’s like my dad, who had a handlebar moustache. He had it from 1955 to 2000. He didn’t do chemotherapy because of that. He had liver cancer.
So I too will miss his curles. Maybe that’s his Achilles heel. Hope not.
And Lozil, would he be a fit if he went to RM this year? I’m not sure. But for now I’m trying to find places to find various matches. I only get NBCSports. I live in an assisted living place and they won’t allow add ones even If we could. I gotta break out of this place!
