It’s Official: Chicharito On Loan To Real Madrid

1 Sep

Satellite (1)Well, I finally made it England yesterday after detours to Boston and back to NYC. I went directly to get roast dinner down the pub and watched that shitshow of a match. Then I slept for about 12 hours. I woke up to find Falcao had gone to MUFC and Chicharito was on his way to us. Put the pillow back over my head and slept some more. I was hoping to sleep completely through transfer deadline day but the lure of tea and extra mature cheesy toast finally got me moving. So, yeah, welcome Chicharito!

We have an option to buy the player after the loan period.

I’m going to be a bit scarce on the ground until I get back to NY on Wednesday. I’ll try to update once a day if I can (besides the Drool).

Well my favorite Mexican footballer is with RM! Yahoo. But I’m afraid he’s going to be in the same situation as he had at ManU. I was hoping he would go to a place where he could start every game. Wishful thinking, huh?

On a different note and I’m sorry to put it here but don’t know how to get this to you. Regarding my fantasy football team. I had forgotten about when the start of the season was (I’m on the road towards dementia so it doesn’t surprise me). So I gave up the first 2 matches and start from Match 3. However, there is nothing there that shows I even picked any people. I have spent vast amounts of minutes trying to figure it out. I would be greatly appreciative if you can explain this to me like I was a 4th grader!

Hey there – Our email address is on this page if you ever need to reach me. Just go to the Fantasy Football site, log in and click the help button. It will give you all the instructions you need to choose and save your team. I’d give you a direct link to their help section but I’m in England right now on another person’s computer and I don’t have all my log in info with me so I can’t offer any guidance at the moment.

You can only buy players during the “transfer period” of the Fantasy League, which is after the last game of the week (jornada) has been played and before the first game of the next week is played. Make sure you fill all the spots, even the four on bench, to be able to complete your team. Incomplete teams garner zero points.

You and me both. We’ll definitely take care of him, but he;’s in the worst place in the world for breaking the thumbs up habit! 😉

And while you are at it, can you please help with that thumb? We tried.

I’m envisioning a Javier / James bromance. No reason, just seems to make sense.

Of all of our transfers in the past 5 years, this is the one that I am most perplexed about. With that said, I will be optimistic and I will give him a chance. It’s something I’m learning to do 😉
