Open Training Session

28 Dec

Satellite (4)Los Good N’ Plenties returned to training today as they prepare for Tuesday’s friendly vs. AC Milan. It was the annual open training for members. Check out the crowd chanting his name after Iker makes some awesome saves.

In addition to the first teamers, Carletto also called up Diego Llorente, Raúl de Tomás and Marcos Llorente. You may notice some familiar faces missing, most notably Cristiano & Karim. Well, they’re already in Dubai as you can see from their Instagram.

The team then signed autographs and threw their shirts into the crowd for the lucky fans watching.

Lest anyone forget, the 4 trophies that we won in 2014 were on display at the training session. Not too shabby a haul, eh?

A few more honors came to our players. Cris, Sergio & Toni were named to L’Equipe’s team of the year. The others chosen were Neuer, Lahm, Hummels, Alaba, Di María, Xabi Alonso, Messi and Neymar. I’m sure you notice that two of those players were our’s up until recently. ::sob::  James was named Sportsman of the Year by AIPS (International Association of Latin American Sports Journalists).

Here’s some Christmas pictures of the boys. I hope the bloopers show up soon. Last year we had to wait until New Year’s Day, I think.
