I think it might be. It’s wonderful to see him so damn happy. He was in the stands today for Atleti’s first game of the year, which was a 3-1 victory over Levante.
Nando was sporting a spiffy new haircut and watched the game intently. He also chatted with old friends and fans.
His new adventure started on December 30th when he arrived back in Madrid and did a solo training. He then had his medical assessment on the 31st and joined the team for training that day.
It is so lovely to see him smile. I really hope that he fully recovers his form (except, of course, when he’s playing against us. He’s allowed to have an off day then) and silences the naysayers.

I’m not sure if I like the new hair… But, hey, if Torres is happy. I want good things for him.
I wanted him to do well in Milan. And I liked the idea of a budding bromance between him and Diego Lopez. *sigh*
I’m hoping there is a secret rendezvous with Sergio!
this is making my heart swell. he looks so happy!
Blonde Nando, the return of Sernando (evidence of which I hope is forthcoming shortly) …what a great way to start the new year…..
Carlos Jean! wasn’t aware he was an Atleti fan. I appreciate the little hug they share 🙂
