Hello! I’ve read many times in this page the word “bebe”, I just want to explain that the right word is “bebé” with an accent. if you write “bebe”, it means “drinks”. In spanish an accent changes the whole meaning of a sentence.
Examples: Cristiano is a baby – Cristiano es un bebé.
Cristiano drinks water – Cristiano bebe agua.
=)
Hi Anon –
Although it may not seem like it, I do actually know the difference between “bebe” and “bebé” as I speak very basic Spanish and French. However, I am also an American with a keyboard to match. If I’m too lazy and/or absent minded to type poor Jese’s name with an accent, you can bet I won’t be doing it for ‘bebe’. 😉 With or without the accent, here in the US ‘bebe’ is slang for “baby” I could have just as easily used “bb” which is more or less the same thing. So if you see “bebe” on these pages (typed by me), it will mean “baby” and is not a conjunction of “beber” 🙂
But thank you for your comment – that may clear up some confusion non-English speakers might have about what I’m referring to.
