As watishista Mandy let us know in the comments, Fabio got an injury in training today. He just came back from one and now he’s out again. Sigh.
As a result of all the mangled players on the first team, Ancelotti brought up some of the young’uns to training: Odegaard, Lucas Torró, Burgui, Derik, Narváez and León. Chicharito worked out inside.
A few quick other things: RM was nominated for the Laureus World Team of the Year award. Cristiano is in career-best form. The Clasico is going to be played on March 22. The frigging Clasico. I can’t even begin to think about that or I’ll have a total freakout.
So here’s David Villa speaking English in a cartoon dog shirt to ease the pain of all this drama.
That helped a wee bit. I mean what even is that shirt? The guy next to him in the La Roja jersey looks chuffed to be there.
